- Subscribe for more aquatic antics. Endler vs. Guppy, or does it even matter? It's Tank Tour 4, my 20 gallon tall aquascape with a colony of yellow tiger endler's livebearers breeding true! And of course, cherry shrimp. Chock full of marimo moss, corkscrew vallisneria, floating pearlweed, water sprite, and a bonsai driftwood tree. Also, I give a brief overview on the classification of endlers vs. guppies, and the incredibly blurry line in between. Thanks for watching!!

Hi! I'm a new subscriber her, I just wanted to say that I love this channel!
It's informative, Steven is funny and holds your interest while giving loads of helpful advice.
Hi! Thanks so much! Comments like yours really make my day.
Thanks for the bit of singing at the end. How loveley! B-roll doot doot!
You’re hilarious! *Subscribed”
This is the kind of video that inspires me! Subtle and informative with any addictive tune about the subject. Not all artists are willing to visit the subject of live bearing these days. The lyrics hit home...
Just watchin' a cool fish vid when I hear an unexpected shout-out...made my day.
Seeing you going through my channel vids has made _my_ day!
Beautiful fish! I can't wait till you sell again....
Very soon!
Great video Stephen
Thanks!
your aquascape is beautiful, beautiful to look at
well your video just popped up, so guess i will support the channel and wait for the next installment stay well
Welcome!
Thank you
This tank is a lot of fun! I’ve always avoided live bearers, but I might be missing out on some fun! My fish are too serious!
Sounds like you need some dumb happy livebearers in your life!
Love the bonsai tree, and the proponency for hybridizing/mosh pits/ enjoying your fish. Very refreshing. 🎉
I only subscribed because of the song at the end
LMFAO!!! SudoAquascape? New definition for the undergrads!!!
Once again Mr. Phillips the realistic approach of information is unique and Hilarious!!!
The "Aquascape" is classically designed for the beginner practice!!!
LMFAO!!! Love it all!!!! KEEP IT COMING!!!
Love the song at the end!!!!!
lol, thanks! I always wonder who makes it through the back half of my videos. I tend to get kind of weird in the later parts of a video the longer I spend editing it.
Nice relaxing. Nice not too loud music
I love your tanks!!
Thank you!
Mine are doing very well that I got from you and multiplying!
Awesome! I got a one-off with a neat little streak of red that I might mess around with. If I remember correctly you were doing something similar?
@@StephenP2003 Yep! Funny you mention that too because one of the males from your line is starting to show a little red/orange in the tail/body I think. I might use him going forward, especially if it shows through more!
I will definitely go back and watch one, two, and three 😁.
I really appreciate this video!! Stephen you really broke this topic down💪👍🙌
Great information !!
Thanks for sharing!! I hope you're having a wonderful day!!🙏🌿🐟🌿💚
Nice looking tank and great looking endlers
Nice.. Thanks For Sharing ✌ ✍
Great footage, voice and pace for videos. Lovely tank.
Thanks!
Very nice!
Thanks!
Really enjoyed the tank tour! I look forward to your videos.
I love the endlers you sent me. So very colorful.
Love those yellow tigers!! Awesome video as always
Always love a good mosh pit 👍 nice looking fish 😁
Good looking tank bud.
Thanks Larry!
👋 Great video! 👍👍 man guppies, I think have took the most real estate in my fish room. Just this year alone. Good stuff
Thank you!
To the moon!
You're already up there, how is it?
@@StephenP2003 It's not bad, I'll save you a seat, but you won't need it for long as you'll be on your way further up to Jupiter or even Uranus!
I like the yellow tiger enlers, I'm working on a cross with a female tiger endler, 1 fry that survived the heat waver last year. Turned out to be a female and raised it alone so she had never been hit by a male. The other side of the cross is a male koi tuxedo guppy. I've gotten 2 generations so far but they are growing slow. Just barely starting to get yellow on the tails.
That's awesome, I love messing around with the hybrids. I have a group of female endlers and cull endler males in my pleco growout, and I'm seeing some pretty cool patterns coming out of that as well. I don't rush growing out my fish either. I feel like they stay healthier that way.
Love the tank, also great content
Soooo glad I found you lol... Thanks for the great content. I have a similar small pond that I made out of a styrofoam cooler with a shit ton of mutt guppies
That's pretty cool! Amazing how easy it is to make a box of water for guppies to multiply.
I made it look like a rock so you can't tell it is styrofoam if I knew how to put a picture on here I would show you lol
at the end u like peter griffin
I didn’t realize I didn’t sub.... I got you broski
Better late than never! Thanks!
@@StephenP2003 Better late than never.... wait till you have 20k subs.... I'm early af 😆
Tank looks awesome 🤩
Thank you!
Please show.more hybrids
nice endlers ... i am mixing mine with red dragon female guppies now ... lets see what we will achieve 2 months later on :D
Yes I'd love to see what you get out of those!
You should add some new tiger endlers from another breeder, for diversify the gene pool
For sure, definitely a good idea. But I actually sold off the remainder of those endlers last year, and now I got some C123 corydoras in there
Mosquito fish tank next!
That might be my fish of choice when I decide to do an outdoor tub.
@@StephenP2003 I’m in the process, ponds are great!
@@StephenP2003 we keep those in livestock tanks. They survived being covered with ice
As far as plants go, I can successfully grow most low tech plants. The only plant I'm really failing with is water sprite. I've tried it 3 times with no success.
Water sprite is a tricky one. There are tanks in my house where water sprite just cannot thrive, others where it just stays alive, and a couple of tanks it will grow quickly out of control. I think it is just a major nutrient sponge and just needs an abundance of macros, especially nitrogen. I've had the best success floating it, by far.
Great looking thank for a non biologist
😝
I just watched your video with the Tiger endlers I'm looking to purchase females and males in the next few weeks or sooner. I'm in Minneapolis, it's still pretty cold at night do you do same-day shipping? Thank you!!
Hi Caitlin, I can certainly do overnight shipping. It isn't cheap, unfortunately, but we can look at options. email me at StephenP2003@fishfam.link when you're ready.
@@StephenP2003 thank you! for getting back to me. I'll message you soon.
Every other channel I've watched so far tell us live bearers will eat their young. Like, all of them. How do you end up with so many?
Well-fed livebearers in a planted tank (lots of hiding spaces for fry) will always colony breed. I imagine many fry do get eaten, which is a good thing for a colony in limited space. Otherwise you'd see exponential growth in population every few months.
Hello 👋 nice endlers guppies. Do you have any free stickers?
Yep, just send me your mailing address to stephenp2003@fishfam.link
Endler all the way! Guppies are way to inbred and unnatural to me
