Great review sis thanks for the honesty. I actually just bought the bonnet attachment for my hand held dryer and I sat that thing down on my lap and called it a day.

Hello! That type of Hair Dryer is for hair rollers, specially for large hair rollers. That's why you didn't find the right way to fit your head inside 😅. There's another type of hair dryer that has round head, that's better for the use you want.
You know what that does make sense lol thanks soooo much because I was tripping hard 😂

Hi Kathy Ive tried putting it as high as the pole would allow but when I do that, the head portion is not angled enough for my hair to go inside 😕 The angle of the head-portion of the dryer is so awkward...

Honestly...I have this same hood dryer and as I'm texting this I am sitting under it in a high back chair and the heat is blowing out very good to the point that I had to dial it down. Keep it 💯 I'm very satisfied with my purchase🤷🏾.
The air and heat worked perfectly on the dryer it was the way I had to position myself underneath for my hair to get dry lol it was so awkward... It's possible mines was defective but so many ppl said they had the same issue as well lol I'm glad your is working well for you 🙂 Happy Holidays!!
Great video my wife want this I’m gonna do some refitting using pvc plumbing pipe .. it just needs to angle out and come down more over the head

Hey, you’re so right. I just got mine in the mail and that was a puzzle for me trying to figure out how to properly sit under it without having that heavy thing sitting on my shoulders. With a lot of adjusting, I finally figured out a way to sit comfortably underneath it.
Let me know your secret lol it sits right sometimes for me but it takes me forever to position it 😆

Latania Dillon I usually sit on top of three pillows so my head can be completely inside the hooded dryer🤷🏾♀️😂. I was too lazy to return it so that’s what I’ve been doing. The hood is not too low because then it will be right at my shoulders. I elevate the hood to a height that is slightly manageable, then I get the pillows so my head is fully inside.

Ii was unpacking my hair dryer just like the one you have and I purchased mine from AMAZON as well, I saw your page setting up the same hair dryer and I watched because I had a problem inserting the chrome pole,after watching your opinion of the hair dryer I almost put it back in the carton and start refund proceedings If I had the same problems you did.I sat in my chair when finished and I pushed the dryed right up against the back of my chair and rolled the hair dryer so that one of the legs was right under my chair adjusted the height and it was perfect,I sat very comfortably just as if I were in the beauty shop and continued on my computer.I had nothing on my shoulders or neck.I think all you needed to was get it closer to you chair, I love it.
Ok thanks I'm going to give it another try tomorrow because I still have it I recently brought a stool & a new desk chair so Ill try it again with both of those but girllll I was thinking mines was just a faulty one until I saw so many ppl saying they had the same issue! Im going to give it another try but thank you for your suggestion 😊 Ill let you know lol

I just purchased this hair dryer because my dreads are too long for the bonnet and it doesn't dry as well. This is the same kind as my loctician's and it dries my hair very well. I just needed one for home for the times I cannot get to her. Like some other folks said, you had used it incorrectly. Your head is not to fit into it all the way in. You could easily get your hair caught up in the fan doing it that way. It is designed for rollers and it needed to sit a bit up and back. It needs to move the air around your head in order to get it dry.
However, I do agree that the instructions are very bad. But I knew that before putting it together. Thank god for You Tubers who put out instructional videos.
Thank you so much and your absolutely correct! Its good to use for perm rods or any protective style I was under the impression that I would be able to use it to dry my wash-n-go styles and thats definitely not the case but Ill use it for deep conditioning with a cap! Thanks so much ❤️

Now, I see what you meant about the how the hood as it a slant. I don't know why it was not manufactured straight, so you can adjust the hood straight up and down. I ain't returning this thang smh lol. Going to wash my hair today, and sit on some pillows. We'll see how it goes lol. Happy Holidays!

I saw someone say they sit at the edge of their chair and lean back to get the same angle like the chairs at the salons. Maybe that will work. I just ordered this one and plan to use it for roller sets, but that horrific noise has me nervous. I have a newborn I don’t wanna scare.

Try Ion brand ionic hair dryer. It’s been my staple for 9 years sis!!
I deep condition or do hot oil treatments weekly and I always use my dryer to set my styles and it has given me no problems 💜

You can flip it around, take out the flap part and it’s a regular sit under dryer. Waaay more comfortable!

NATURALLY RONNIE yes air dry is best but you definitely don’t want to catch pneumonia in that cold.
I've been using this same dryer in my salon for years .very easy to use,
I think you drop it too low....you have to adjust it to your sitting height.

I had a few ppl say tgeirs work while others experienced the same issues I was having. I still have it tho LoL thx again for watching 😊

I bought it for drying my pixie molds...it socks heated air upward and disturbs my mold.
Smh! I think its only good for people who use it to deep condition (with a cap on their heads) or people with locs because my hair would've been caught all up in those blades! Thanks for sharing your experience & let me know if you come cross one thats better and affordable 😊
I have this dryer and I used a high bar height chair which worked well, but my disappointment was the dryer’s air flow direction which sucked my hair upwards and forward disturbing my curl pattern. This is not a good hooded dryer for naturals in my opinion.

@@NaturallyRonnie Hi ok Im back because now my daughter needs a hair dryer. I did get the Pibbs 514 Kwik Dryer. Let me tell you. It is the Bomb. I done almost burnt myself a couple of times taking advantage of the heat and then realizing I set the temp too high. I love my dryer and I have used it for colors, deep conditioning and even one time I just sat under it because it was cold and didn't feel like getting up going to the thermostat to turn on the heat in the house (LOL) I know I was lazy that day. I hope you found a dryer for you and let me know if you ever purchased the Pibbs. I do not want to send my dryer with my daughter because I know I would never get it back so guess I'm going to purchase her one too. LOL! Dee-

I just came on your channel looking for hope. I’m so disappointed with his hair dryer I could cry. At least your hairdryer is actually blowing out the hot air. The one that I have is defective. It doesn’t even blow out hot air it warms up like a oven but it does not blow at all! I’m about to get a refund and go cry myself a river

It literally fall apart on it own and the hooded dryer broke on the floor in one day. The worse dryers don’t waste your money.

NATURALLY RONNIE yes I bought it on amazon so I reached them out and sent pictures of the broken pieces and I also attached others reviews that experienced the same thing and they had noting to say but to refund. It seems tho this is on going issue with this dryer. If u get lucky u get a good standing one but when they made the bottom pieces to stand on it has no screws to screw it on you stick the legs like LEGO pieces lol and as ur sitting the hood is heavy so the legs will fall apart. Who ever thought that was a good idea without good standing base must be crazy. Anyways buy another brand. I got it the day before and I turned it on to see if it works and I left it standing to use it the next day and it literally fall apart and the hood broke into pieces on the ground.

I have been using that dryer for years , you are using it wrong it needs to be all the way up and angle down a low chair I never have that problem with my clients unless that was a bootleg dryer you got.

It's possible that it was some faulty ones that were sent to ppl but trust me I tried every angle & every size chair because I really needed it & mines didn't work! I still have it stored.
