I watched Brennan Marion coach at Waynesboro HS years ago & now he is where he is. Always ran a terrific offense.
Guy is really smart
Great video....theres a ton you can do with this. The draw game could be killer too. Run your snag, spacing, verts, etc and you still have a RB to hand off to if the Mike starts fitting the pass game
Yes sir
This was one of our primary formations this year we ran a lot of wide zone with the first back speed option with the second back veer with the first back speed option with the second or we would throw the swing screen off either qb sweep qb lead rb lead and wide zone with the first back leading it threw defenses off because they didn't know how to line up to it.......
Nice!!!!
Great stuff coach. Run and shoot plus the go go alignment has been on my mind for a year or two. 20 Personnel option and 4 strong forces backside decisions that could leave teams exposed.
Agreed
Coach Mac it was great catching up at the AFCA convention. Great work always. Keep teaching.
Thank You, great catching up
Just my opinion, but from a Dropback passing game situation i don't think this is hard to defend. In your defense you have 5 to cover 4 strong, and there's only so much those two Backs can actually do.
Where this set/type of set is dangerous is in the early downs where the run is still on the table and you can now have a lead/insert/seal blocker, etc.
I was thinking the same thing....but imagine compressing the formation and now your RB's can become more vertical threats on wheels, seams, etc. I think you can get mileage out of the RB's downfield if you compress the formation. Mesh, verticals can now be an option
Love it coach thank you
You are welcome
Run it with an attached TE QB counter and buck is nasty we ran iso draw with our snag n stick PA Vert switch
Sweet
