Aside from many MOB shinanigans, I managed to build a lovely little fantasy style house, an animal barn, TWO fully functional Villager TRADING HALLS, an entire MARKET PLACE for the wandering traders, floating STORAGE TOWERS, A beautiful NETHER PORTAL AREA, a Huge MOB GRINDER and IRON FARM and of course our pretty TRADING SHIP to top it all off. Hey Everyone! I had a blast making this so I hope you enjoy it! I did notice as I watched it back that it definitely increases in energy and silliness as the video progresses! Being a lifelong lurker, I know there's no greater achievement than to lure a lurker into the comments! Thank you Billie! If you go to Ep1 of the original series for this skyblock, the link is in the description. Be warned though, I had to do some editing of the map to remove floating villages and get it how I wanted for the series, I used NBTExplorer for that I think. They have a new version of the map now tough so it could be different.

I‘ve watched fhwip doing this challenge. Which I suppose to be one of the best builders out there.
But I definitely agree that you did an absolute amazing job.

Though no one should be defined by their subscriber count, I fully expected you to have way more, than you do. Judging by the quality of your content and the entertainment value of it all, I am confident you will easily climb the ranks. Your videos are funny and to the point, even though what we get to see is only a fraction of the time you spend planning and actually building. Your results are gorgeous and well-thought-out. I am impressed!

Great series! Some pretty funny points throughout that I won't spoil here, but you definitely made me laugh multiple times! And you made some beautiful buildings and designs, made even more impressive by the challenge that is the 1 block. Great to see what you achieved with this!
I didn't really say in the videos, but that challenge of the One block was a lot of fun, if frustrating at times! Highly recommend people give this mod a try, it's a great way to test your MC knowledge too as you work around the limitations!

If you leave this save file for good, why not converting the trading halls into actual living space for the villagers, so they can live in peace and roam the place, instead of rotting for an eternity in the trading hall? Oh, and by the way, this was the most beautiful skyblock island I have ever seen! It was a blast to watch!

This was simply spectacular! Very rarely do I see a one block or sky block series that goes for the 3 dimensional base even though it’s such a great way to get more space! I would love to see you do a modded sky block series, I think it would be amazing!
Maybe something for the future! Right now I'm working on a hardcore series and I've never touched hardcore before so it should be an experience...either way! I think people shy away from working the Y axis in skyblocks because it's that much harder to build and to generally get around different levels, but I thought it'd be a fun challenge so I'm glad you appreciate it! The shape of the island I would call a Scottish Highlands Celtic knot. Trust me. I come from a bloodline of the Irish that had escaped to Scotland due to the potato famine. So they can live off some good Highland beef instead of potato only. So, I understand the highs and the lows in your design. It reaches to the soul a good bit, thank you.

@microcosmgaming Let's just say there's some deep mythology. To that on my last name. We split 1/2 to Ireland, the other half, to Romania. From a banding together of the Spartans and the Persians from their messengers. One helped form Scotland after the potato famine. The other half helped form some sort of society after a bloody scare. Let's just say Vlad. 😓 The Ireland side, let's say that we had turned into ants and carried all of what we need to that of Scotland and renamed ourselves that of Scottie based on what my father had said. I think I followed along that route. Because it took a sacrifice at least 10,000 of that of our tribe and name in a number to build that of boats to carry ourselves northern. I was always told it was religious persecution. But I believe it was an offering. To the Fay for safe travels in a building for a better future. Because we did not form our name again. Until 200 years later, after society found its roots again in the land and allowed for freedom. Trust me. I hear Morgana on the breeze every once in a while.

I be busy! I know you're having a laugh but also, don't let that discourage you! I used to sigh when I'd see major things done in videos too, but remember, I've been doing this..non stop..for a long while. Plus I take extra time to design everything in creative before building in survival etc. total hours put into creating the world is much more I'm sure.

@@kookookachooifcate I believe its called the 'All in One' mod on Forge, but there's lot of other good skyblock and oneblock mods, such as SkyFactory 4, and the best part, they're ALL free, including Forge itself

And THIS is why armor for the doggos has always been so important! The wolves/doggos are your first line of defense against skeletons and anything that you attack even once. So happy the armadillo was voted in for 1.21!!! Edit: Also YES to naming the Zombie Horse Cranberry!! That was *CHEF'S KISS* PERFECT!!!
I can't say I was excited for any of the mobs this year, they seem less and less fleshed out every time, but I did immediately think of my poor dog army when the armadillo was announced. Cranberry survived to the end!

Can you do 200 days on one block skyblock?, would be interesting and fun to see what can be done with this next phase of the one block
That's a good question. What I would do with 200, 300...1000 days would have to be to start from scratch. The only thing I could do would be take extra time to develop a much larger island (not great for camera work fyi) and more intricate builds. As for 'the next phase', there really isn't one. The one block gives you what it gives you, by the end of this series I had exhausted all the phases, beaten the dragon, got my wings etc and all the one block would give me from there on out was more, random blocks.
It's certainly something that could be done, but for the sake of keeping the series manageable, I prefer short, in this case at least.

(Tbh I often don’t know where to start in Minecraft worlds because I don’t want to change the landscape too much and can’t really come up with big building ideas, but with something like this I get to build an entire world of my own design from the ground up!)

Usually the One block skyblock i watched build on a flat face and make Good builds but this is the best One i have seen of all One block . Your Islands you have made are is interesting and different from earlier i seen. Really liked this video . Hopefully you do some more of this kinda One block skyblock videos

That block was stingy with the iron, let me tell ya! Still, a bit of a challenge is a good thing. Although, I'm currently working on Ep1 of a hardcore series and I'm making a beeline to the nearest iron and diamond, I'm not confident it won't be Ep1 and done lol. My two favorite trees in Minecraft are Birch and dark oak they contrast so well together I also like bamboo and acacia I'm playing in the 1.21 preview in 1.20 you get bamboo blocks
I find yellow bamboo hard to make work, it's so high contrast. Acacia may be the thing, or I guess mangrove.

As to how to play one block...If you go to one of the individual episodes for this series, I have a link in the description there. Now, I did a little editing of the one block map itself before starting, just aesthetic stuff, but you might see floating villages and some other things that aren't in mine, depending on your version. There are lots of vids online for how to install and get the whole thing running, but if you get stuck throw me a dm on X or insta and I'll see if I can help, just because you watched the whole thing twice!! lol. GL, hope you have a tonne of fun with it.

I can kinda see that , certainly has the circular theme going on, I didn't have anything lined up to the Minecraft Solstice though😂 I thought about building newgrange before as it happens, sadly neolithic architecture doesn't look like much when translated into the block world.
By far the best one block world. Would love to see another 100 days expanding it further, no none ever does that, I get why, but also I want it!
Ye I kinda wanted to tbh, but at that point it isn't a one block play through where you never know what's gonna come next!! it just becomes a grind for resources, not so much fun to film.
I sometimes think about how when i first started watching 100 days videos I thought people were actually playing for 100 real days instead of 100 minecraft days and I still sometimes wish someone would make at least one video of an actual 100 days playthrough just for the hell of it 😂
I think the ROI would be quite low on a video like that. Having said that, It's about presentation I guess, there are plenty of series out there that would cover 100 real days or far more, I'm sure my first Let's Play was more than 100 days, it's just not one video. there are also some amaaazing server series out there where people have been working on worlds for years. It's hard to ask people to invest a third of a year on one video though. The 100 (minecraft) days thing is just a trend that's popular right now, I guess it's just a nice way to allow people to search for a style they're looking for.
@@microcosmgaming yeah but it would still be interesting to see cuz I know about the series videos like Dan Rob likes doing multiple 100 days videos of the same world but the only expectation they have for quitting any of those worlds is dying. I know it would be a lot for someone to sacrifice so much real time for a single video but I still think it would be cool to see it done with something like better minecraft or all the mods where 100 minecraft days is too short to show off the full extent of some of the mods but a year plus is too much time to show every mod. Sort of a "see what you can achieve in 100 days" because if you try it with vanilla definitely going to make an extremely boring video that could have just been a hardcore series
That's fair. I wonder if there are ppl out there who did compilations of long modded lets play series. You might not get the "day 1 I did this, day 5 I did this' style but then I think that's out played anyway. Hope you find what you're looking for!

Yea it's nice to try put your own twist on things. Plenty of great versions out there, I just did what popped into mind.
You can even do bamboo and Mangrove together that looks good to me
ah there you go, yea they'd work. I do prefer the new green bamboo though, more versitile.
