Lol he was stressing throughout the whole scene cause he looked like he was about to blow a fuse any moment now and ruin the dance even I was stressed cause I thought he was about to throw a fit right after they threw him lmao, Ryan Reynolds is an amazing actor can't wait too see him in Deadpool and wolverine
This movie was not just for children, but a great reminder for adults who've lost their inner child as well. Imagination is not only a child thing, it's a human thing that we all possess! The Creator created us to be creative! If you loose your way, you can always find your way back :)
Admittedly, I do like the designs of the IFs because on the outside, they look pretty simple, and then on the inside, there are some complexities. It probably represents how, despite their simplicity, there are complications expressing their consciousness and emotions.
My favorite part of IF, I liked how Bea redecorated the community center with only her creative imagination and the whole dance performance was amazing 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I'm a guy, in my 30's, I balled happy tears during this entire sequence. I don't know why, but apparently I needed to just cry and in joy at the same time. It's been a decade since I have cried, maybe it was just meant to happen. I love this movie so much.
I think this is one of the best interpretations of IF’s that I have seen. I loved that they didn’t use the standard tropes of new kids or senior citizens. Just “grown-ups” who had forgotten the confidence, joy and wonderment that is (in a perfect world), what being a kid is all about. This scene is beautifully executed, and I cried like a baby through the entire thing. This is a truly special film.
If I could do this with my imagination I'll turn the interior of my house into a massive stage theater so I can watch my favorite musicals without ever leaving home
When Paramount reaches its anniversary they should do a video with this song it features If but also other Paramount characters dancing along from TMNT to Paw Patrol, to SpongeBob to Transformers and Sonic, and other Paramount characters to celebrate its anniversary when it arrives
4:50 this for me was so awesome and good that no joke I got excitedly involved and just started dancing alongside the characters in the cinema as they were dancing(yes I know it's physically impossible to dance with the characters but to feel a part of it and just start dancing was just incredibly magical and I want nobody here judging me and taking that away from me)and it was probably the most fun I've had with a movie in a very long time and that I love this movie and imaginary friends alike.
I think Seth Green would LOVE this film, I can imagine 🤖🍗 making a skit of *"dirty fantasies"* since that place can be ANYTHING you want it to be 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Unqualifiedmedicalperson I know 😞 I hate how the Snowflake Season is easily offended and can't tell the difference between good dialogues in show business and actual violence in the flesh
I have watched this at least 20times and would love to see more footage! A great song, and double meaning as she wasn't remembering Cal so she "better be good" to Cal
And the build up is done so well and amazingly that you can't help but join in the fun if you can which is exactly what I did when I went to see this in the cinema. It's just too bad that IF is overall a feel good movie in my opinion and the fact that the idea of imaginary friends is such a limited audience unfortunately caused this film to fail financially. That tells me this movie was not made with marketing and money in mind but art and creativity and I do see it here because it looks like everybody cast and all were having themselves an excellent time making this. For me 9/10 because yes there may be a few very minor issues here and there but we reserve those issues for the people who don't know how to feel good or have fun with a movie as that is what this movie really is about and what is needed in the current world now more than ever
I don't know how I feel about this Movie, but I feel it's about grief, loss and mental health. Poor girl lost her mother and could possibly lose her father. That's a lotta trauma. I think there's potential but there could have really been some emotional stuff here.
I am a cold old man who hadn’t cried in 15 years. I watched this with my child and I don’t know why, but it hurt to watch this until I just let out the happy tears. I have watched it three times and it still continues to make me feel human again. My only disappointment is that so-called movie critics dumped on it, so more people didn’t watch it. This is exactly the kind of movie we need more of.
Really, I love the entire movie, but to me, this was hands down, the best scene in the movie! I hope they do more with this franchise, like make a series on Paramount+!
You can have your grandfather sandworm in Dune 2, you can have your gun POV shootout in Bad Boys Ride or Die, you can even have that realistic panic attack in Inside Out 2, but this... this is a challenger for Scene of the Year. When's the last time you saw a family film make an extended Esther Williams homage?
I saw this movie at a drive in with a girl I was kinda on the way out with, Breakin up and all. We ended on good terms, But man the few weeks before we came to that conclusion just had me in a fog emotionally and MAN, This scene had me smiling from ear to ear for the first time in a few weeks and it really stuck with me. I love this movie so much when I watch it at the theaters. I watched 6 movies so far in 2024 Kung Fu panda 4 Arthur the king Kingdom of the planet of the apes If Inside out 2 Despicable me 4 If has to be the best movie ever in 2024. Which movie is the best one ever in 2024?
The song is "Better Be Good to Me" by Tina Turner, the woman in stage blond hair and outfit, and she singing and dancing is Tina Turner in Imaginary Friends movie 4:43
They really pulled off the whole “world of a child’s imagination”thing better than Imaginary did
