Looking at the Tiana RL bag, part of me could see the items almost as being what a modern Tiana would have in her bag (comb, hair tie, notepad for shopping list etc.) Which would be cute if this was, say, an accessory for a tiana doll or something. But considering other RL bags it just feels out if place and like they cheaped out, and if they wanted to do it as a "what tiana has in her bag" theme, they could've said so.
That makes a lot of sense, sadly.

Jackie, I’ve mentioned it before but will point it out again: people by these in big batches & weigh them in private to find the limited edition item. If there’s a weight difference in the pack, then they scored the rare item. They’ll then return the ones that weigh less to get their money back or resell them elsewhere at a high value than they got it for.

Fun fact on "Snug as a bug in a Rug" expression came around in 1760s-1770s period during blizzard and cold seasons being wrap up and warm like a moth lava, The moth lava was happy to feed on the rolled up carpets in cabins while also being warm and safe at the same time. Where the term "snug as a bug in a rug " came from

I didn’t know this. I always assumed Cinnamoroll was a girl rabbit.
But I looked it up, and according to Sanrio Cinnamoroll is a male puppy with long white ears and a curly tail.
He flaps his ears to fly.
And they are really adamant that he’s a “puppy” not a “dog”.
I guess maybe because almost none of the Sanrio characters are grown up? They’re all children (or the animal equivalent).

1. Favorite Sanrio characters have to be Batz-Maru, Cinnamoroll, Pom Pom Purin, and Haida from Aggretsuko. Probably forgetting several. Sanrio has such a huge selection of the absolute cutest characters and designs.
2. Fun fact! The 'Hello kitty is a human girl' comment controversy is actually a mistranslation that was corrected! The corrected translation described her as being like Minnie Mouse, aka cartoon anthropomorphic animals that act like humans. Which does sound difficult to translate from Japanese to English ^-^;

I found the fluffy Hello Kitty one at Walmart a few weeks ago, but they haven't restocked since. I really want the Kuromi and Cinnamoroll bags. I'm sure they'll restock eventually. They're still pretty new.

My first retail job was at a Sanrio Surprises mall store in the early 90’s. I loved Keroppi the frog and they had a duck at the time called Aruna Pekkle. Later on Cinnamonroll too. I love all the Sanrio characters they hold a special place in my heart and never out grew it. 😊

@@SmoochiesASMRplus Pochacco was a dog at that time and they had Spottie Dottie a Dalmatian that was to much pink for me. Pochacco is still popular. Our friends daughter that is 11 loves him and Pompompurin. She asked for them on her birthday and her parents where lost. I was like I got this. 😂

Does Aggretsuko count as a Sanrio character since she was made by them? Because Retsuko is pretty cool. If not, Cinnamoroll is definitely a favorite. And omg, I forgot about Spottie Dottie. I loved her when I was a kid, and I still love her now that I've rediscovered her.

Favorite Sanrio characters: Hello Kitty, Pompompurin (or just Purin), Keroppi, My Melody, Cinnamaroll and Chococat.
Kuromi, Gudatama, and Badtz Maru are top three in that order. My guess with the Tiana text she was asking him does he want pan fry or stir fry for dinner and her loved it, and then she asked if he wanted pie for dessert which he really loved.

For the Hello Kitty bags, a lot of fans would pay $15 for the bags alone. The extra stuff is a plus! Honestly in terms of Hello Kitty, it's a steal. I wish I got my hands on one. Hopefully I'll come across it in the store someday
9:23 I purchased that hello kitty bag today! I love how it has a itabag style to it. That’s why I picked that one. I honestly wish that it could be used as a itabag but sadly, there’s no way to access the clear part that has the bows without taking the whole front stitching part a part (◞‸◟)

Cinnamoroll is a puppy, not a bunny. Sanrio calls him a pup on official merchandise. A lot of people still call him a bunny though. I have all four of them and love them. This was the first and only time I have wanted the entire set in a Real Littles bag series. If they do a series 2 i would love to see them do a bag for Pompompurrin and Keropii. In general we don't see many yellow and green products from Real Littles that I know of. Fun video as always Jackie!

I saw a whole untouched case of the Sanrio ones at the store last weekend.. didn't realize they were so hard to find! I just bought a Cinnamoroll because he was just so fluffy and cute! (Thought I might also mention, he's a cocker spaniel, not a bunny!)

Toy companies are using fewer plastics in thier packaging that's why it open and only heald by one strip of plastic instead of behind a plastic barrier. The lil jibber tab is to keep people from opening in store as well as it opening in shipping.
Kuromi is definitely my favorite. She's a soft goth like me and I appreciate the style 😂
Pochacco and Keroppi are my favorite. I remember growing up the mall had a sanrio store. I would go and get the mystery bags. Everything was so cute. I know really like the character that is kinda punk. I don't see her on the list I think she's new. Keromi. I had to look it up.

My best friend has always loved Hello Kitty. I wasn't into Sanrio characters until I met her. When I saw Kuromi the first time... love. She's just punk adorableness! (as well as all of the Kuromi 5 lol ) Followed closely by Chococat lol.

Fun fact: they teach you cursive handwriting (or they should (!!)) when you start writing, because it connects your left and right brain, which makes solving problems easier. So cursive handwriting helps your brain.

Snug as a bug in a rug reffers to bedbugs i do believe. Bedbugs are very snug in rugs. Funny enough most sayings were warnings at the time. "Shave and a haorcut 2 bits" is a song now but it litterly used to cost 2 bits for a shave and a haircut. "Lookout below" was shouted out just before chamber pots would be emptied from 2nd and 3rd floors. And of course "sleep tight dont let the bedbugs bite" meant exactly that
