About the "cursed hands". I used to have them (a little worse) for too many years... until I realized it's psychological and not "bad DNA". I hope this will help you get rid of it sooner than me.

@@vicc.4290 That's what I thought too all my life. Recently I had panic attacks and I had to control them by accepting my anxiety as something natural... and my sweaty hands stopped too. Anxiety is our DNA's way to stay alert against danger, against a predator it seems logical (fight or flight) but against the the today's dangers (e.g. a bill) it doesn't. Fearing anxiety will make it bigger becoming a problem. Hope this helps you too 😉

Hey Shoobs, I recently tried both the Tecsee Mango Ice and Durock Medium Tactile switches and loved them both. I've not seen much on either switch and suggest you try them out! Should be good content. I went with the Mango Ice switches but was able to get my friend to use the DMTs. Mango Ice are a medium weight preloaded tactile with a nice dip before bottom out and the DMTs are a lighter variety. They're about the same weight as browns but a significantly more tactile alternative.

you can make any board sound like the qk65, you need poron case and pcb foam and Ixpe foam

Not really, the plate foam in the QK65 is designed with the board to create a certain sound signature.

I need help on a switch. I bought some jwick black v2 switches on amazon they work but they don’t fit all the way and yes I have clipped the stems needed. The keyboard I have is a redragon k552 and am currently confused on why they no fit
Your redragon model likely can only fit Outemu switches but Jwicks are MX. Outemu sockets can only use Outemu and Akko, potentially a few select other switches I believe. Skinnier middle peg or something. Treat yoself to an upgrade if you want to use the majority of custom switches!

I'm a little bumbed you used plate foam because I wanted to hear how the board would perform without the help of foam.
I understand the use of case foam tho.
It’s a budget board, it doesn’t sound good without foam. Also you can always watch other reviews on it, specifically keybored’s

qk65 vs iris65 🥺 because im still contemplating which to get
they're practically the same, get which one that looks better for your taste, qk is more sharper, jris is more rounded and softer

it's worse than that, only 2k actually and probably most units would be sold in house(MyKeyclub is the seller) only assigning a smaller portion to be shared among the worldwide sellers, if we account that most people won't want "any" Jris65 but rather an specific config of it, then your changes go down a lot more. Best of lucks, see you on the battlefield, erh.. I mean, the group buy.

How is being 65% = not useful?
when you want to do more than type tests, having keys outside of alphas is pretty much required... especially if you're doing actual work on the keyboard
I use the F row and the home cluster basically constantly and having to put all that stuff on a second layer makes a keyboard useless to me

@@IronCan88 honestly I saw a recent zoom65 build by alexotos that sounds really nice considering he only used like the tiniest bit of case foam, super full and loud alphas + spacebar, beats the qk65 imo
@@BlitzShott it's really up to your preference. I was just expressing my honest opinion since I don't really care out the knob, so disregarding the knob overall I rate JRIS > Qk65 > Zoom65.
I personally don't like tiny knob, and the ugly logo on the zoom, and instead prefer the minimalistic design and sound of the qk65, but I can see how some may prefer the Zoom65. Jris beat both...I would just change the name of Jris to something else easier to pronounce.
@@IronCan88 and we talking about a very tiny difference actually. But btw, qk65 for me looks "bland". For me, zoom65 looks better. Recently I completed my desire to purchase the trio of 65% banger altogether, zoo65, zoom65, qk65, finally I have 3 of them in the house (the gb time for each was different so it takes long time to completed the 3). Honestly bro...I love zoom65, of course I valued the knob, and that small knob is looks nice too (for me tho lol), and zoo65 (not zoom) is also sound amazing, looks very good too, I love watching it from top down view, and the side profile also looks nice. And finally the qk65, it looks the most generic for me. The bottom weight is also "plain", and some user reported that the unfinished/unpolished bottom weight scratched the upper body, it also happened with mine. For the sound, typing feel, is really2 comparable for the 3. Maybe some expert says qk65 sounds better overall, but I'd rather live with the looks of zoom65 or zoo65 than qk65. And...what I hate is...from top down and side view, qk65 looks really similar to jris65 (I also joined jris65 gb tho), which I already said...qk65 looks like generic/mainstream 65% looking board for me, it's just the bottom is million times better than qk. And also, I'm getting the hotswap version so the plateless option is no go for me. Yeah, at the end of the day, you must really get your hands-on those boards to really get the idea, and sometimes my conclusion may different from others because "preference". You know...even typing sound tests on yt can be full bullsh*t until you hear it in real life
If totally get that if i could get my Nickname "Tanja" instead of Jris...
