I think you might be off on this one in regards to the Scapegoat. Christ himself is the replacement sin offering, not Satan. The scapegoat had slips of paper with sins written on them tied to his fur and then sent off into the desert to die, thus expiating the sins of the community. But this needed to be done each year. Christ accomplishes this once and for all by taking all of mankinds sins onto himself and then dying, saving all humanity forever. The goat as a symbol is chosen by satanists because goats are more self-willed, they do not listen to the voice of the shepherd. They are more independent minded and combatitive, and ambitious ( climbing high places). Hence why Christ separates those who heed the shepherd ( the flock of sheep who move together in a herd) from the goats ( those who dont listen and go their own way.)
I also heard an interesting addition to that aspect; that Christ, being perfect and without sin, essentially "broke" the scapegoat tradition because the whole ritual was about the village feeling temporarily relieved of their sins because they all agreed the goat was the culprit. But Jesus, who was without sin, basically forced the bluff and destroyed the tradition. Now people had to repent authentically (accepting Christ) because the sacrifice was innocent.

Hi Jonathan. I have a question, but not to argue. I ask in a sincere sense I am missing something. What is the nature/ function/ existence of the margin, exception, carnival, etc., (or the lack thereof) in Christ, Heaven, and Divine Simplicity? It seems a perception of multiplicity is only a temporary illusion if reality is ultimately unified.
One aspect is that God is not a cosmic grapist. A theocracy promotes a society that has no belief because everyone is forced to act like they believe. They don't know if they do. Even the Amish send their kids out into the world to determine if the Amish iff is for them.... as a choice. We also find ourselves under the tyranny of people that make God small. We get the symbolism the problem I have with the channel is the over complication of things the symbols in the scriptures are meant to be broken down so that even a child could understand them yet this host and other always seem to want to flaunt their intellect, forgive me if that’s not the case. I believe the questions what does the symbolism of Satan represent why not discuss it’s true meaning in first century context doing so would key listeners in on Jesus conflict with his own Jewish brethren unless the host is afraid to explore this topic in a genuine manner because he doesn’t want to risk being labeled antisemitic, this is what happens when everyone wants to be politically correct they dance around the truth rather than speaking it to power. The symbols are less relevant to moderns than the flat facts Jesus himself said he’d stop speaking in parable and would rather speak plainly to the people. Either the host and those like him don’t know the truth are afraid to share it or just like playing around in the mysteries ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth.

Modern people simply can't comprehend some of these things, look at atheists in the Protestant west. Yea, it's interesting, when I read a bit about the theology of some left-hand-pathers, the thoughtful ones seek unity as well. I guess it's just too subtle of a point to get across to a lotta folks... that everything in this world is a projection (a mirror of the mind), so the path to unity is about examining how our minds have become trapped in dualities. The mind liberated in God only sees God in all things. A very demanding undertaking but I think the only way to "love thy enemies" is to realize they are you, projected into a mirror
ok, but why then is Jesus described as a coming to divide? and why is unity seen as a characteristic of the "antiChrist"? to me it seems religion takes Jesus only about unity when its convenient, and its about division also when its convenient for them. Whenever someone talks about unity between the Christian churches and amongst religions, they are called an anti Christ ecumenist. To me the reason God created multiplicity is to reinforce the goodness, because if all of us individually, decide to come together, that is true unity.
Does unity among non-heretical churches get the same response? Are you talking about unity with Jehovah witnesses and mormons or are you talking of unity between Catholics and Lutherans? Some unity is impossible because of heretical notions but most unity is impossible because of the hardness of our hearts. We split into segments and lose our culture. I make art and often think Christians reject the art because it might look Catholic. Protestants seem to stop any culture from being created. I believe art and music is our great advantage over the 'religion of peace.'
Religion is about the opposite of convenience. It's the binding, the ligature (ligio), of oneself (re) to what is owed to the Creator. Compare the convenient sacrifice of Cain to the costly sacrifice of Abel. It's not about the letters but the spirit of the scriptures. You'll have language about division when appropriate, and language about unity when appropriate. Let the letters be the medium of expressing the words, but don't try to box the words into the letters, because words are infinite, transcendent, metaphysical, while letters are physical, finite, and peculiar.
However Baphomet is actually a symbol of Unity, it is the union of opposites. Surprised at how Pageau who is well informed on symbols fails to make that connection. The greater unholy union is worshipping ETERNAL TORMENT TO CHILDREN & CALLING “Gods Unconditional Love” 🔥😱🔥😱🔥😱🔥😱🔥😱🔥🔥🔥😱
& DENYING THE DEATH OF CRIST BY BELIEVING IN THE TRINITY. If Jesus was God, then God cannot die. And if Christ didn’t FULLY DIE , for 3 days, according to the scriptures, then your faith is feigned and you are NOT a believer.
I enjoy iconography because of art. As to the devil's and demons it's voodoo religion. If you believed in Jesus christ that was all destroyed.
Demons and devil's are just crime done people. Lies, thieves and murders etc.

There is no god, enjoy your life !
you won't if you reject meaning. That pleasure is empty... and will become boring soon after you achieve it. You will take up stupid religions like woke or take up the religion you will be forced to take up, like the 'religion of peace.' Do you believe those people walking around in masks aren't following a non deistic religion? The simple fact you decided to listen or comment here means you are wrestling with God.
@@MicahMicahel I'am my own God
People who comment “there is no God” tend to be the most miserable people on earth, telling others to enjoy their life when they can’t do so themselves, mostly because your life is meaningless and if you are your own God as you say, what a weak pathetic god you are, why do you care if we worship God or not?
@@sebozz2046How is that working out?
Been there, done that. Ever since I became religious I have not felt any despair. I felt despair nearly everyday as an atheist.
