I just thought about how we sang this on the last day of school last year and how everybody was crying their eyes out when we sang angel band. such an emotional day, and i'll never forget the memories we made in this group. these are definitely my favorite songs that we sang, and chamber singers 2010-2011 was an amazing group.
Todd Helm is a treasure and this is the best high school choir i've heard in more than 45 years of teaching, singing and conducting. Bravo....the music is alive and sung with conviction, style, finesse, beauty and startling maturity.

Looks like they really enjoyed singing Angel Band, they put emotion into that song.
Is the piano accompaniment written down somewhere, or was it impromptu? It is lovely and light.
The accompanist is the composer. There probably is a written accompaniment, but he is quite talented and can improvise well also.
That's the composer of this song, he just improvised it as we went along! I sang in this number, I find myself keep coming back to it all the time!
