Excellent guide as usual. Thank you for doing this Mikkel. I hope somebody migrate a variation Floating Blue ( or similar ) to Low-Fire one of these days.

Thanks. I am not sure if it is possible to get the same effect on low fire. Bot who knows :-)

New subscriber, I love your work. Your floating blue is beautiful, thank you for sharing. I will try it.
I’ve been using JDB144 turquoise, another beautiful blue but the rutile comes through too much when thin. I’ve tried floating blue before but that turned out too brown.
I will definitely try this version of floating blue recipe 🧡

Does the type of water matter ? My well water here has quite a bit of iron in it. Our tap water has calcium. Should I use demineralized water ?

It probably does but very little. I just use tap water :-)

Is this a cone 5-6 glaze? It is quite different than the one I make. Thanks so much
