    one thing to ask, i ask 200Ah lead acid battery, its full charge voltage is 15.4v or 13.4v? i have learned that its 15.4v and my solar controller (chinese one purchased locally) cuts the load when it reached 10.5v not 8v as u have described.

      A 12 volt (12.6 volt) automotive or deep cycle battery should not be charged over 14 volts. You'll find that when a lead acid type battery, which includes "gel cell" types reach near 100 percent capacity that their voltage put on them from a chargers goes way up with very little charge current. This is why regulation is a MUST with unmanned operation unlike when you hook an unregulated charger to your car for example. I find that the best standby voltage on a 12 volt battery is 13.8 volts if it's the supply is left on continuously. The 8 volts is just a random number Haseeb picked to show how the controller works. He set it at 4 volts at the end for example. At 10.5 volts that battery is a good time to charge it. Anything below 12 would be good, but most 12 volt devices shut down at 10 volts and the (lead acid) battery is pretty much a giant resistor at that point (and really much before that). Good luck!
