- Here's another shopping video at both Aldi and Target! I really enjoy filming these and hope you guys enjoy watching them too. This time I did a little something different by recording a VoiceOver and leaving the audio of the video in so you could still hear the ambience haha. I talk.... a lot! It's the perfect video to put on in the background while you get stuff done or you can watch it like you're shopping with me. Hope you enjoy!

Hi Glory!! Aldi employee here 😊 so we don’t have cart corrals in our parking lots for a specific reason! And that is to keep our prices low for our customers 😊 the quarter in the cart is incentive to bring the cart back in order to not have a designated cart return employee (more employees, more company has on payroll). I completely understand where you’re coming from, but luckily most of the time our parking lots are pretty small. So the reason for no cart corrals besides the main one every store has is to keep those awesome prices 😄 I hope this helps!!
Another point is that no shopping cart can be moved by wind or storm and cause damage to vehicles. And doesn't the parking lot look tidier as a result? And who wants to have their car damaged by a shopping cart?
Glory, you are doing the lords work with these videos. I have a family of 6 and I literally have been so Aldi so much since watching these videos!! I usually spend around $200-$250 a week on groceries and I have cut that significantly shopping at Aldi!! They need to sponsor you at this point!!

I went and bought the chocolate chip brioche bread bc you get it all the time. I'm the French toast queen in my family so I had to try. It was definitely a moment. They loved it.

Glory, avocado tip, keep the pit in. Let's say you are only using half, leave the pit in the unused half. Helps to stop it from going brown. It also helps in guacamole, just stick it in the center on top. I think it works best with the plain avocado though, I hope this helps!

Love these videos.for avocado to last a long time you put it in a jar of water in the fridge. (I thought it was weird and I tried it and it works wonderfully keeping them ripe)

9:49; I do the complement thing too! When I see some with a cute outfit, cute nails, nice makeup or if I can smell their Perfume or cologne 🤩 gatta compliment them !! Never know if they are having a bad day or something, a compliment can uplift them ♥️

I always put my bread in the bottom with the other food items, but I just put the bread items on top of the other food. I save the "child seat" to put my cleaning products in, or eggs.

Loving these videos! I try to shop about every two weeks. I find I can usually stretch my produce for two weeks. I do the same thing with compliments. I just feel like it’s laid on my heart sometimes to tell them versus keeping it in. It doesn’t happen every time I go out but on occasion

I’m 33 single with no children and I love these videos because you introduced me to a new store and it’s very helpful given that I am coping with some new dietary restrictions and tackling the challenge of learning how to budget my grocery shopping. To see you get all of that and to know that it feeds the family of four for under $200 For the most part at one store is amazing to me. I’m definitely going to check out Aldi. I’m also going to look into recipe planning for the week to make it easier for me to decide what to get at the store so then I’m not guessing.

I need these videos! I'm not creative enough to come up with new recipes! I LOVED your last video! You can stop items from falling through the child seat on the carts by putting the plastic thing upright. Also, those cart lanes are called cart corrals.

I love your video hauls from Aldi. It's so therapeutic watching you grab all of your food. We go to Aldi weekly as well because of the produce and seeing all of their new featured items.
I love these videos! I’ve heard the point of the quarter is so that they don’t have to hire more employees to go grab all the carts from the parking lot. I agree it’s slightly inconvenient having to walk the carts back since I’m never shopping by myself I always have my toddler with me
I'm not sure if all Aldis carry these, but I've seen the artisan bread, the croissant rolls, and the Lil smokies there. They're the generic brand, of course! Great video❤️

i have to say, i really love these videos!!
I do a mixture of Aldi and Costco. I try to go to Costco no more than once every two weeks, it throws off my grocery budget for the times I need to restock. But then I just don't need those items for a long time.
Aldi tends to be around $100 a week for my family of 4 (2 toddler boys). Costco can range from $80 a visit to $240.
seeing how cheap everything is makes me miss the mainland! cant wait to finally move back in sept. Also i love your videos

Hey Glory, love the Aldi shopping trips! Keep it up. Also, can you show us some other items like seasonal things? Second, you could potentially save more money if you try the Aldi diapers and toilet paper. People say they are both great. Also Aldi has an awesome pasta sauce, similar to Rao. That could save you money and you wouldn’t have to go to target.

Great Video! Aldi actually purposely doesn't have the cart corrals to keep labor costs down & pass savings onto the food. By having the quarter inserted you are incentivized to collect your own cart & return it for other new/entering guest and they don't have to pay an extra employee to be on outside cart duty.
Also aldi does have the cresent roll dough! Its by the deli meat very good
You have to get the paper towels that have the green label in the Boulder brand at Aldi. They are the bounty dupe. It's the only ones I buy no other off brand compares. They also have a Scott dupe that I love, too.
I always do once a month, fresh produce will be every 2 weeks at the local market 😅
