Here's what I got my family of four from Trader Joe's and Aldi!

- This week I went to Trader Joe's (with the hubby!) and Aldi to shop for my family! I used to shop at Trader Joe's all the time but it's been forever since I went to one so it was really fun to shop there and even compare prices to Aldi. I also went to the Dollar Tree to get a few things and you guys already know that's my favorite store. I hope you enjoy the video!

Matt you are absolutely right!!! Bone broth is very good for you. My doctor recommended it. It’s especially good for your cell growth. I drink 1 cup of warm bone broth (like tea in a mug) per week to improve my white cell count between treatments. It’s also a good protein source. It has improved not only my cell count but also fatigue and inflammation. Aldi’s carries a Simply Nature Organic Low Sodium brand in a carton that is 9 grams of protein per cup. I drink it as is, but If you don’t like the taste of bone broth add a little black pepper or your favorite seasoning to make it more palatable to your liking. I talk about them to my bf but he does NOT care 😂🥹 but I love the fact that you plan out the meals every week and put it on a notes that’s so smart. Thank you Matt for validating that I'm not crazy. Bread goes in my cart last so it's not smashed. When we go to the checkout, I always put cold items first so they can be bagged together.

Pro tip when you can't get the cart out, push the cart all the way in, and then try and take the lock out. It's usually because there's too much space and slack in the chain.
Always check your eggs to make sure they are not broken.

This video was fun I’m not a Trader Joe’s fan those shopping carts are small for a reason lol with my family of 6 I would have to make trips all over the place to get groceries and the prices can be off by coins or $ and that can really add up if your are on a budget but all in all you were able to get everything your family needed 👍🏾and it was fun to see Matt shopping next time Matt we all want to go to Best Buy too what’s up with that 🤷🏾♀️why we can’t go????
Haha I feel that. Some prices were lower at Trader Joe’s too but going back and forth is tough! I do like when one store has overall lower prices which I feel like Aldi does! lol he loves Best Buy as much as I love dollar tree lol

you know that "Trader Joe" is actually Aldi North, right?
The Albrecht Brothers (owners of Aldi) had a fallout about offering Zigarettes in their Shops, so they divided into Aldi Nord (North) and Aldi Süd (South) in Germany. When Aldi came to the US they couldnt have 2 Shops with the same Name, so Aldi Nord bought Trader Joe and continued under that Name.
Both still work together to form up their buying power on Named Brands as on their Store-Brands.

I LOVE your content, Glory! I have a question. Have you considered buying multiples of items that you use on a consistent basis? Stuff like ranch seasoning, salsa, and other non-perishable items so that you have it on hand when you are ready to make one of your amazing recipes. I find in the long run, it saves time off my shopping trips when I can focus on purchasing my perishable stuff because I have all the non-perishable items already. Just something I noticed that could help you moving forward. Love you!

Have you guys tried eating preservative free? There's a book called Ultra Processed People where it talks about the unknown effects of preservatives. I wonder if it would help your husband with his new diet needs.
i actually think the eggs might be cheaper at aldi! i noticed you buy the organic ones at aldi and the ones you got in this video aren't - but the TJ organic eggs are probs more than $3.75

I love Trader Joe's, all their frozen items are fire, but their hot sauces/sriracha is NOT it. Blech!! I still haven't found a suitable substitute for sriracha. Even the "original" Thai version is not good to me.
