This was my big dream back then to play like ean does. Twelve years later I’m an event technician, I DJ and have my own label. Thanks Ean for being the influence to make me who I am today. I couldn’t be happier
Fantastic Live Mixing. The amount of prep and live mixing skills needed to do this is impressive. Not only was he using single tracks for drums, basslines, and leads. He was adding in his own flare as well. To get all those different tracks from different styles and find a way to mesh them together in a improvisational way is awesome. This shouldn't be compared to music produced in a studio. This video was the reason I got my S4 over 3 years ago, and still going strong.
I was a DJ in the 80's playing in big gigs in front of up to 4000 people. I got bored in the 90's because our creativity was so limited with the tools we had. I got back into it on 2012 when I saw the amazing possibilities that technology brings. Our sets can become so unique, we can create our own tracks live. Thanks to technology; it unleashes creativity.
Just an opinion, I think vinyl DJ and CDJs shouldn't look down on ddjs, yes it's easier with the sync function, but it's a lot more versatile. It's not the equipment that makes DJ a good DJ, it's how he/she mixes music.
To be honest this is as good as djing gets. In the term of the craft, he did an amazing job. Song choices, I would opt for something else. But this is the best I've seen with this setup.
This is a master class in how front when "DJing" ! Step 1. After you press a button snap your hand back like are handling a snake ! ( 8 year olds do this every day on the Play station, but your a DJ ! ) Step 2. When twisting an effect knob, sway back n forth like in a Gospel Church ! ( It's a high pass filter that can only be controlled by my soul ) Ean Golden is skilled but this is way over the top, I hope its an old video. Also DJTechTools is an awesome site.
This is the demo that made me purchase the product. It’s was reasonably priced for beginners but I have to say that I know those cues come off over time if you constantly move em up and down to fast. And planned obsolescence designs products to ware out and break down right on warranty schedule expiration (unless if you care to modify and repair) Threw mine to officeworks recycling when I was getting rid of things I haven’t used in over a year It was good fun while I was into it
Im buying the traktor s4 right now!!! so happy about this actually. didnt want to buy turntables. seems like toomuch for the experience I got. Ill get those later on. But this is the best kontroller I came across on the internet
100% agree with phatman I own a DJ agency and have CDJ 2000's, DJM2000, Technics 1210s and have DJ'd for over 20 years. IMO the new VCI400 is from Vestax is just about the best bit of kit on the market and for less than £700 absolute bargain. Yes its not a CDJ and 99% of clubs have CDJ's but if like the majority of budding DJ's out there just play at home, house parties, private functions etc ..the VCI 400 is an awesome extremely well built bit of kit. That won't let you down.
i was trying it out the othr day. it's so much fun just creating whole new songs with just mixing drums, synths, basslines and samples. but also real easy to handle even with 4 decks playing, due to the logic structure of the faders and knobs. i'm definately trying to get one of those things.
I WAS AT DJ STORE TODAY PLAYED FIRST TIME WITH TRAKTOR S4 MAN IT WAS SMALL NOT BIG AS I THOUGHT BUT IT VERY NICE TOOL FOR SCRACHING MAN SO NICE LOOPS AND OTHER WORK PERFEKT THERE NO DOUGHT ITS A WINNER
Still coming back to cherish this masterpiece of Controllerism.

This vid was the reason why I bought an S4 8 years ago or something like that. Had some crazy parties with that in my flat. Good ole days...

Turntable Jesus

This was the reason why I bought the S4. Amen.
Sory but this is so bad.
Lol. In what universe is this bad. This more DJing I've seen in two min than any other "DJ".
Deion Lear In my universe this is bad, if in your universe this is good, well, i respect it...
To be honest this is as good as djing gets. In the term of the craft, he did an amazing job. Song choices, I would opt for something else. But this is the best I've seen with this setup.
Deion Lear i've seen better. As i say, this is bad, :) cya.

Tenía 17 años cuando vi por primera vez este hermoso track, hoy a punto de cumplir 30, lo escucho de nuevo y me regresó de golpe a ese momento :')

that was great!
This is the demo that made me purchase the product.

Threw mine to officeworks recycling when I was getting rid of things I haven’t used in over a year
It was good fun while I was into it
that was like the greatest remix ever, and he did it on the spot !
doing this in front of your whole school, with 2 cdj 900 and a xone 62 , and looking at the crowd completly hypnotised
a longer version needs to exist of this
Very nice.
I'm really excited for this type of routine.
This's still great! I miss him!

Brilliant... Love it! Great work!
Im buying the traktor s4 right now!!! so happy about this actually. didnt want to buy turntables. seems like toomuch for the experience I got. Ill get those later on. But this is the best kontroller I came across on the internet

Wow what a fantastic performance... Music is my life
After 10 years you should be able to like this video at least one more time
I honestly dont know how people dislike videos. i personally have never disliked a video other than anything with 009 System song or with Beiber
