@@nisarfazil6104 You know coincidentally, I have read Sam Parnia’s Lazarus Effect. I was very interested in his research in hospitals in the UK and US where they put various secret symbols up on high shelves to see if people’s out of body experiences were real, and if they could report accurately what those secret symbols were. In the years long program and many cardiac arrests, they didn’t find one case where a person who had an out of body experience accurately reported these secret symbols. They had to shift the focus of their research to extending the period to resuscitation.
@@nisarfazil6104 so no experimental evidence was obtained which verified that an out of body experience is real, and not a hallucination after years of observing patients. I found this disappointing because it would be nice if there was life after death. I wanted to believe this after my mother died! Most of the book was about how cooling the body can allow you to bring people back after a longer time, and that was called the Lazarus effect. I find what Ghalib says to be solid science and he never adds anything to it. I am a trained scientist.
@@nisarfazil6104 Coincidentally, I have read the Lazarus Effect by Sam Parnia! Sam Parnia led a multi-year research called AWARE I and II and found no evidence that out of body experiences are physically real. He published on the chemical basis of the life review experience but found no evidence of existence outside the physical brain. As part of this study, they placed secret symbols on high shelves in hospitals where people underwent cardiac arrest to see if resuscitated people were really having out of body experiences and they recalled seeing these symbols from floating above their bodies. Not a single case was found! Therefore, no evidence that consciousness can exist outside the body. So the book Lazarus Effect was focused on resuscitated people who came back from the dead and how to extend the time that people can be dead by cooling etc.

Afterlife is a concept propagated by hindu and Muslim systems.
Afterlife is the basis of ALL religions (and yes, that includes Bhuddism)... here are three things that are common to all religions
1) They convince you that you are deficient, sinfull, corrupt, need to escape your desires (Bhuddism) etc
2) There is a cure and
3) Just follow their religion and you will achieve moksha, heaven, enlightenment etc etc
And before you know it, you are so convinced that you are willing to impose (by force) your views on you fellow humans ...
