    Is 'test deck' another name for test case or is it something different?

    Hello! How to write technical user stories? I have a team which design and develop APIs for costumers (internal and external) to consume so the persona is a system. How do you capture the functionality and translate it to a requirements ?

    So, if there is a bug in the UAT or any issue in the user stories for one sprint
    Are these issues resolved in the same sprint or taken to another sprint if next sprint is starting soon and if taking time to resolve?

    • @us4480
      @us4480 9 месяцев назад

      It depends on the priority of that user story and response from the stakeholders.Based on their response we can decide to move for the next sprint or else through back to the product backlog.

    How is UAT performed using jira app? I suppose test cases are not required in jira?

    • @MrBoardie11
      @MrBoardie11 2 года назад +1

      Hi AJ, it is not a must that they are created in JIRA, however there are lots of advantages to having them in JIRA such as traceability linking, which allows you to link all of your test cases to your user stories and they are also easily searchable so you don't have to manually create a requirements matrix. You can also setup test suites which tells you the progress of your testing and how many passes and failures you have as well as some very useful reporting and dashboards that you can setup. Would very much recommend adding them to JIRA for this reason

    • @InDemandBAandScrumMaster
      @InDemandBAandScrumMaster  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for the detailed explanation. I would agree Jira is just a tool to help track requirements to testing and then production.

    Doesn't seem like this will test whether or not customers will buy and like your software. That viral buzz is all important. Waterfall design often fail this even though it is carefully specified (unlike agile). Is there a different customer test?

    is BA job really a high demand job or people sell this trainings to make money to people like us ? because I see many people giving training on BA to people for high payments and they are always promising that it is very easy to find job..I also paid to a PM who always told me that it is not a big deal to find job but even he prepared me a very good resume and I have a 3 years BA experience in my home country, nobody gets back for even an interview !

      There are a lot of people providing training, but everyone is committed to helping people succeed. To date, I have helped 113 people transition into BA/Scrum Master roles. Lots of jobs available in the market.

      @@InDemandBAandScrumMaster Yes sure I am not expecting someone to find me a job but just try to understand if this is a really a in demand job. I couldnt figure out why companies not calling even for an interview even I have a very professional BA resume , 3+ years experience, even some experience in Canada, for 2 months I havent received one interview call.. Thats very weird comparing with what you say..There should be something wrong but cant get it unfortunately..My point of view is I guess to many people in the market and their number is so much higher than the available jobs but as this sounds a promising job , many people pays for trainings without really understanding the probable outcome and the real need in the market..I also see that many IT people also tries to go into this field which makes more competitive..
