My man, I seriously thought you were an American (or maybe Canadian), your English is so smooth you sound like a radio announcer! I’m an American trying to learn Amharic, thanks for the knowledge 👍🏻
Amesegenalehu! Love your reaching method and your energy. Amharic is a very difficult language especially because people spell the words so differently. Also my American tongue has difficulty pronouncing the words. Would love for you to Create a video where we can see how you pronunciar words with mouth and tongue. Example, words like “new”, “Qen”, any word with the capital T in the middle.
Good video, thanks for your time. I think it got a bit confusing when trying to explain the responses because it was hard to tell when the exchange was ending / beginning -- were you repeating something for our benefit, or was the response also 'dena walsh', etc. Another slide that has a simple formula like 'Person 1: dena walk. -> Person 2: dena` would help us to parse what you're saying a bit better.
Salamta, masagana, You brought up an interesting question at the beginning I have long been wondering. How you address a person you don't know the gender of? Like when it's dark or when addressing your RUclips audience? What about neutral tense? *Also before concerning it, do all inanimate objects have genders? Is the river male or female? Go to the river it is a gateway to another world.
You're a great teacher I picked up a lot. Now I greet my friends from Ethiopia.
