Q: Why is a small portion of the video completely muted?
A: Copyright reasons. Sometimes I get hit with copyright claims AFTER the video has already been posted, my only choice is to refute the claim but if RUclips denies it, I have to either take down the video or mute the small portion they are claiming. If the video has been up for a while, it is much easier for me to mute this small portion in the YT studio and then unmute it months later after people aren't watching the video as much.
Q: Why is the movie not as loud as I want it to be, why can't you show more of it uncut?
A: Copyright reasons. Notice a pattern here? Most of your questions will likely be answered with some type of copyright related reason.
Q: Why is the movie footage flipped?
A: Again, copyright reasons. I am watching the movie the normal way, it is only flipped for the video.

Hey man. Loving your stranger things reaction. Just curious though, are you going to release your reaction to Brokeback Mountain? I saw you made a post about it and I've been eagerly awaiting, as not many channels have reacted to it.
@@hashtagfilm So I've seen a few comments regarding patreon requested movie reactions so I'm just going to copy and paste a reply I made to someone else asking about another film just to make it easier...
Some reactions are labeled as a "patreon request" which means it was not chosen by me or chosen by the polls, it was instead chosen by my top tier patreon members who are able to choose one movie each for me to react to and post the full uncut reaction to all patreon members of the $8/month tier or higher.
Because these movies are usually lesser known and because I already have A LOT of movie reactions to edit along with other videos, I only choose SOME of the patreon request reactions to actually bring over to RUclips with an edited reaction. Some just stay on Patreon in its uncut format.
The ones I choose are either the ones I enjoy the most/had a good reaction to it or that many others seem to want to see the edited reaction for....
So whether or not I upload the Brokeback Mountain reaction depends on a lot.. I always save the recordings so never say never to it being edited for RUclips... but right now I cannot justify spending the time to edit a video for it. I also do not think my reaction was THAT good... it's a solid film but did not feel that reaction worthy.

the flashback sequence killed. forgot how much i was rooting for this group of kids. they've been through hell and back. and the friendships you make as kids are like nothing you ever make again... and the flashback captured it brilliantly.
The metaphors for depression, grief, and survivor’s guilt are spot on and incredibly emotional.
I really hope Sadie Sink gets some awards for this. She's very talented.

I had to pause after that Max scene, as someone who suffers depression, I’ve been running up that hill fighting for my life for a long time. This made me cry so hard- great representation of what it’s like
Same here. When Vecna says “they can’t help you, there’s a reason you hide from them. You belong here with me” had me sobbing. I also suffer from depression, which worsened after the death of my best friend last year. It was like someone was displaying my own feelings.
You're definitely not alone. Me too, this scene made me cry so hard as well, we have to fight every day and always run towards the light. It's worth it
Max’s progression as a character has been amazing. When she was first introduced back in Season 2, I thought she was annoying. Fast forward to this episode when I was genuinely worried for her/would’ve been upset if she didn’t escape at the end.
I think this arc for her also did wonders to justify some of the ways the show kinda slid around both in plot and tone in Season 2 and especially 3 - because all those goofy subplot moments people were losing patience with are the memories of a young girl's life that reminds her she still wants to live.
She bugged me sooooo much in season 3. I really didn't like her. But talk about a character redemption this season
@@hashtagfilm There was no redeeming. She's still the same character. The only thing that changed is we understand her. People like this are very common and why I never judge people.
Absolutely love this reaction. The Max sequence was phenomenal and by far one of the best scenes of the series. Sadie Sink has nailed it this season

You was the only person who stopped to hear the music you were the only person who stopped to listen to the credits song. I'm so happy, she really is very peaceful version of the song that was in the background in the epic scene of Max running
I agree she is a great actress and really played her role this season and she really shows her range.
Dude, I loved that final scene! I was crying like a baby ToT..I genuinely didn't know what was gonna happen to Max. Great reaction! My favorite episode so far
I think a reason why the ending scene is SO intense is they really did a great job at establishing the 'steps of terror.' I felt horrible for Chrissy with her backstory being so intensely portrayed but it really makes you terrified of the escalating steps of Vecna's murder process. Once she actually starts to float up everyone goes from 'plleeeaseee dont' to 'JFC ARE YOU ****ING ME RIGHT NOW?'
You can see the exact moment she chose life, she didn't want to follow Billy anymore. She didn't feel guilty anymore. That's when Vecna lost his grip on her and she was able to get away. And then the scenes of Vecna looking at her while running up close, showing her getting away and he can't stop her. That's why the rubble couldn't get her, he lost that power over her. Amazing scene and representation!
The fact that she fought it, and he lost that power over her. So powerful! Even just the talk around the letters. Many suicidal people write letters. "I don't want a letter, I'm right here". Then even the song choice "if I only could I'd make a deal with god I'd get him to swap our places", all relates to wanting to follow Billy. I know that feeling oh so well after losing my own brother to suicide, her letter to Billy resonated with me so much. My brother and I had our issues growing up and we were rebuilding that relationship. "We could have been friends". The trauma and what ifs around that are horrible. It's the loss of what could have been.
Oh and not to mention the fact that Steve checked on her! Many people don't check on their friends and they end up dying to suicide. It shows the difference someone can make.
I also struggled with mental health and still do even before and after I lost my brother. I've attempted before a couple times, I've self harmed. That scene was literally a visual representation of fighting depression and getting out of it. While I'm almost out of it, I am still running.
Also when Vecna basically says she runs from her friends. Then when she chooses life and to fight, she runs towards them. Especially with that song 😭😭
I can't stop rewatching that scene and listening to that song!
One of the best sequences in tv series history IMO. I misread the flashbacks as Max's final moments instead of the power of friendship in the moment and thought she was a goner.
I’m pretty sure that was done on purpose. It’s a pretty common death flag after all. Her running desperately while everything around her is collapsing stressed me out as well - I’ve seen too many shows were characters are killed off seconds before reaching safety ^^’

I had to rewatch the max scene so many times after I got done with the episode. I truly think everything was executed perfectly during this scene, the suspense of what’s going to happen to max, the flashbacks, the running scene, I absolutely love this scene and I don’t think anything will top it. Also I love that max has a bigger story this season it’s made be appreciate her character far more
Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink, Jamie Campbell Bower, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, and Joseph Quinn are fantastic this season with the performance of there characters.

The scene in the house with the random agent man saving Will, Jonathan and Mike was such a well directed scene. Max’s scene of course is great but we gotta give some love to the other scene as well.

I was seriously looking forward to this reaction and was so happy when I saw you'd released it. Your reaction to the end was awesome - I've listened to this song on repeat every day since I saw it in the ep.
Since no one in the comments even know to tell I’m sorry they didn’t, the one who plays Victor is Freddy from Nightmare of Elm Street. Every time I hear this song, I think about Max from Stranger Things, such an emotional and awesome scene with her. One of the best episodes. I cry every time I watch people react to that part. She was amazing. I cried when I saw Billy too. Steve is my favorite and Max and growing on me a lot. Pretty cool that Johnathan and Nancy are together in real life. I do like Steve and Nancy together in the show too. I don’t know why they killed off Billy just to have him in this season, like why not have him lived? Billy was one of my favorite characters too, I cried with his death for days. It took i think like 5 or 7 hours to do his makeup to look like that.
It took them about 7 1/2 hrs to transform him into Vecna

Vecna's Left hand/arm reminds me of Pumpkinhead. And the eye's getting sucked out remind me a little of Jeepers Creepers.This season draws on so much 80's/90's horror.

Am I the only one who was never worried they would actually kill Max? Lol I mean they never really kill any main kid characters. Still a good scene but I was never really worried she would die.

What people want is what makes money. People clearly like reaction content. That's why people are able to make money from it. And if you're referring to how it's possible legally, that is because of fair use laws. As long as you are transforming the content into your own (by providing a commentary/review) and you are not using the FULL original content (just clips)... then it is fair use.
