Taekwondo Family, Return to Happiness (다시 찾은 행복, 우리는 태권 가족)

During the 2019 World Peace Taekwondo Festival which drew over 10,000 participants from 41 countries, one team won the Poomsae Family division! This winning team had three generations of the same family and their achievement garnered a lot of admiration. But the family members also had to overcome serious health conditions on their road to victory.
In this short documentary, “Taekwondo Family Return to Happiness,” viewers will see how the family found life-changing benefits from practicing Taekwondo. As we enter an era where the average life expectancy is approaching 100 years old, we take a glimpse into how “Silver” Taekwondo is giving newfound motivation for Korean retirees. Showing examples of how regular Taekwondo workouts for all age groups can bring health benefits to those with ailments, this documentary attempts to inspire viewers to better themselves both in mind and body.
2019년 41개국, 10,007명이 참가했던 세계평화 태권도 페스티벌에서 ‘가족태권도 품새 단체전 우승’을 거머쥔 가족! 10대부터 70대까지 3대가 태권도를 하고 있는 이 태권 가족은 많은 사람들에게 부러움의 대상이 되고 있지만, 사실 오랫동안 건강에 대해 남모를 아픈 사연이 있다.
미니다큐 “다시 찾은 행복, 우리는 태권가족”은 이들이 어떻게 태권도를 통해 삶을 변화시켜왔는지, 또한 100세 건강시대, 초고령 사회를 맞이하여 태권도를 통해 제 2의 인생을 살고 있는 ‘실버태권도’의 현장도 유쾌하게 담고 있어, 남녀노소뿐 아니라 몸이 아픈 이들에게도 희망이 되는 생활태권도의 모범사례로써, 시청자들로 하여금 건강한 삶에 대해 큰 동기부여가 될 것이다.
