    My eldest son and i did the circuit in 2004. We started in Besisahar (there were no roads beyond there back then) and finished in Nya Paul 18 days later. A fabulist walk no matter which way you do it. Such find memories.

    This trip is a story worth to mention for a lifetime, it might not be famous as EBC/ABC, but the memories and bond between the whole team is making this journey to another level. We have breaking so many mental barrier to get this done, can’t count how many time I’ve prep talk to myself to reset my brain I can do it. Well done Wingyan to record this adventure of us. 🤝

    Ice lake is at the altitude of 4600M. And you reached there on your 3rd day of trek and stayed overnight there. This is not a very good idea. But very good video with narration. Congratulations

    Which month did u trek ?

  • @karipintakivi9153
    @karipintakivi9153 6 месяцев назад +2

    Starting from Chame means you are not circumnavigating anything. Impossible to trek AC in 10 days, only about half of it. True AC goes Pokhara - Pokhara, modern version at least Besisahr to Dhampus Phedi near Pokhara, about 280 km and 20 days. Hopping over the pass is a joke.

    • @Clifton_McWilliams
      @Clifton_McWilliams 3 месяца назад

      I was wondering the same thing, so they didn't hike the FULL circuit correct?

    • @karipintakivi9153
      @karipintakivi9153 3 месяца назад +1

      @@Clifton_McWilliams True full circuit would form a circle, originally (seventies) Pokhara to Pokhara. People did that when there were no roads west of Pokhara. The present day reasonable "Full Annapurna Circuit" would be Besisahr to Dhampus Phedi near Pokhara. That would take about 20 days for a reasonably fit trekker. The trek described here is less than half of that in distance. Agencies and RUclipsrs are selling s short high altitude trek over the Thorong La as "Annapurna Circuit" when it is not even a circuit at all. Legendary name sells, but they are deceiving themselves and others.
