I totally agree!!!! Acoustic solo anything of hers is the best! I saw her speak now tour and she sang Train's Hey Soul Sister solo with a ukulele on a little round stage that was out in the middle of the audience. It was one of her best performances she was so adorable in her purple sundress with her hair in a ponytail and she added little chuckles throughout the song. It was so fun and authentic and natural. Plus I love when artists sing other people's music or when they change up their own at a concert - like she did here. When it sounds like the CD, well I can just listen to the CD. Like when she added apologize to back to December... awesome stuff! (Now I have to go watch that video lol)

Love the acoustic version. I think she wants the message of the song to be the focus. I believe that is why it was done acoustically to draw attention to the message rather than a performance with dramatic distractions.
I really love this about Taylor in all of her concerts that she has this segment. Singing to all of her fans, serenading us, telling us a story, simply talking intimately. Such a personal approach in a huge crowd
Interesting fact: this was a promo concert and the entire upper level of the room was filled with media and music industry people. Which makes the emphasis on "it's ok that I'm mad" even more meaningful.
