I think this is a masterpiece. The visuals plus the message in the lyrics are so good. Queen always had a way of being so positive about trying to make life better for everyone. Watched it all with you!
This is such a complex song and the video very unique. the video won the award for the most creative video the year it was released. I love all the changed this song goes through, it is like a soundtrack to someone's lifetime.
All the images have a meaning, and this was the final album in Freddie lifetime, they've made a couple of others with songs they finished for Fred, Made In Heaven. The Spanish Guitar section wasn't Dr Sir Brian May he asked someone else too do that part, and this song bookended Bo Rap which came out in 1975 this one was I think early 91 but Fred didn't stop recording or writing until around two months before he passed away in November 91. The group have another year long look back over their career on their RUclips Channel, Queen The Greatest Live, they put up something similar a couple of years ago for their 50th anniversary, which fortunately or not I remember
The spanish guitar was played by Steve Howe from the band "YES" (< great band btw) and the video is full of innuendos! It's art! Mercury is a Leonardo Da Vinci drawing, May is a Grandville illustration, Taylor is a Jackson Pollock art and Deacon appears as Pablo Picassos work. Inspiration for this track was Led Zeppelin's song Kasmir.
Steve played the chromatic runs and the (exceptional) flourishes on the flamenco section, but most of the solo was still Brian (both the 'acoustic' and the 'electric' bits).
This is one of their masterpieces! They created a few in their time of playing together. This has a very strong message of hope or at least that is what I get from the song. Thanks for all the reactions!
I wish younger generations would listen to Queen lyrics. They’re are so many positive and inspiring messages within. Freddie was such a legend. The whole band are all incredible musicians!
By now you should know how i feel about all of humanity I hate whem people condemn queen just over Freddy's personal life, it's uneducated hatred, not only is Freddy's lyrics and voice epic the band's playing style has been imitated so many times they should have writing credit on every song writen the past 40 years, im in a rant sorry I just feel the need to be the voice for those that have no voice
He was one of the artists that helped paved the way for today's open queer community. He had so many people that were supposed fans rail against him when he died of AIDS and now they are upset that Brian and Roger still tour as Queen. They don't understand that Freddie's estate still receives his share and also funds go to fund AIDS. I admire the fact that they want to pay tribute to Freddie.
@@valogden I really can't stand the level of hatred in this world, I know aids is a horrible way to die, but it was his life, aids wasn't scientifically known about, and i kinda beleive he didn't even know what he had, but the hated of other humans for the choices they make and even how they are born will never seize to amaze me, but this biggest issue is the infinite double standards bigots aren't even good bigots anymore they will hate unconditionally one person but worship a different person that does or is the same as they hate, i don't feel like giving examples but they exist in every form of entertainment, Freddie Mercer was a person first and an entertainer second
I’m always just “grateful” when someone (like this awesome channel) plays/reacts to the original genius of Freddie’s music/performing, instead of just the guhzillion of Freddie Copycat covers! (When I’ve lost all my patience, I go leave comments (HOPELESS, I know) on those copycat reactions just saying “It w/b NICE if you’d also pay due respect to THE REAL THING”.)
There was a recent article that listed the greatest rock bands of all time. The Rolling Stones were #1, Beatles #2 and Queen #3. When Queen tours now they actually use the music of Innuendo before they start the song Now I'm Here. Keep a watch out. There are very strong hints from Brian and Roger that they are planning a tour of the US and Adam has hinted on his recent interviews for his promotions of his new album High Drama that they are planning something and to watch for it.

Innuendo es espectacular 👌👑💫
una de mis favoritas ❤💪
The song is often titled as the BoRhap of the 90s.
Great reaction to a masterpiece, possibly their crowning glory in retrospect - musically, lyrically, and performance-wise.
Artistically a very stunning video!
