What makes Chayoung my all time fave female character is that she never showed Vincenzo her tears and never begged him to stay with her. She always understands him and his situation.
And she never tried to change him. She knows what he does and accepts him as he is even if it doesn’t agree with her most of the time because she knows he’s “the lesser evil” and he everything he does is for a reason. Her trust in him is impeccable and she’s definitely top of the list for best independent and strong female leads!!!

Hong cha young is such a strong character despite her being sassy and quirky all the time. She never really shows her being sad because it would be difficult for vin to leave if she do so. She's very considerate at all time and always understands vin. How great of a woman she is
It is hard to move on from this drama. Everything was just perfect. The fresh storyline, the characters (not even any single character wasted in this drama), the chemistry, the cinematography, and the slowburn romance. I love how the writer nim being consistent about the story. Nothing can change Vincenzo's mind. He's still a mafia but he become more human. I really fall in love with Hong Cha Young character. She never cried in front of Vincenzo, she never asked him to stay, she supported him in whatever he does, she's being reliable person for Geumga tenants, and she made a perfect partner for Vincenzo. If I were Vin, I would head over heels toward her as well.

When I read that "the empty seat in the Jipuragi Law Firm" made me crying again. I remember in episode 18, after Chayoung dropped off Vincenzo in the airport, she came back to the law firm and she looked at Vincenzo's empty chair with a teary eyes and now imagine how painful it is for her for seeing it empty for a WHOLE DAMN YEAR. It hurts. 😭
It was very rare for HCY to show her vulnerability. She implied in the past episodes that she rarely cry. I think she was also holding back her emotions. For her to cry after he left was really heartbreaking
i think because she afraid too.. if she cry in front of vincenzo, he wont be able to leave her.. she knew that from past experience (ep 18-19). so she try to hold back by saying dont call her, etc

This is probably the most painful goodbye scene among kdramas I’ve ever watched.... They didn’t say much, but their eyes did, and the way Cha-young said “You should hurry” because she didn’t want Vincenzo to lose his time because of her. Cha-young only cried right after Vincenzo go because it’s hard to let go of someone she love yet she knew it was his only choice and she didn’t want to hold him for her own sake. Cha-young is so strong in an unbelievable extent, and their love story is beautiful, healthy and painful all at the same time 🥺
If you're not gonna renew vincenzo then you better give this two another drama. Sjk have done alot of drama and this the BEST HE EVER DID.. and let's be honest without jyb this drama won't be as big hit as it is now... Sjk found a perfect match for him... They are fire..... @@melxian5617 I find JYB acting to be far more superior to that of most kdrama actresses. I am not trying to put anyone down, and i have not watched all of SJK dramas with other leading actresses, however based on what I have seen JYB is more versatile and believable.
A drama which really shows that a true love doesn't need any words to describe feelings. They risked their everything for each other without saying "I will give up my life for you", and that's the most powerful thing about this drama.
In this show, Cha-young is the ONLY person Vin voluntarily hugs like that. All their scenes together in Episode 20 make me cry. Such a bittersweet love story makes so much more of an emotional impact than any happy-ever-after ending. For an amazing mix of dark comedy, action, tragedy and romance, Vincenzo is my vote for BEST K-drama EVER. ❤️❤️ So thankful to the writer for coming up with this multilayered storyline and the cast and crew for bringing it all to life.

V started out as a cold person unable and unwilling to accept love. At the end of the series, he was still cold but he also learned what love was. I really believe they will live happily ever after. they will be together in Malta.
Their love is so pure and visible, they don't need to say it in words, we can feel and see that there's so much love and caring involved, like they could risk everything for each other. I'm gonna miss my parents.

this was such a beautiful yet heartbreaking scene. you can feel their emotions through their eyes and the hug was so warm and emotional. this has to be one of the most beautiful kdrama scenes and hugs i have ever watched. it's the way he said good bye and she told him to stay safe, their relation was so much more than 'i love you'. i still don't know what they had but whatever they had in simple words so beautiful. they proved they love eachother by their actions; one took a bullet the other fought like a monster for her. such a beautiful and heartbreaking story. kudos to joongki and yeobeen for portraying the emotions perfectly. Their reunion 1 year later, was also iconic. -The way Vin told her that he'll invite her to his island, the way CY asked him if she can go there as well & Vin told her that he has already a room for her there. -The way they finally confessed. -The way they both told to each other how much they missed each other -The way Vin told her "You have always been on mind ever since I left" & CY couldn't believe him, so he kissed her. -The way he told her "Do you believe me now?" & then continues "Villains never break up because they're tenacious, even when they love" HE ACTUALLY TOLD HER THAT HE LOVES HER & THAT HE'LL NEVER GIVE UP ON HER. -The way their second kiss was the most passionate kiss they ever exchanged. -The way their last goodbye scene after the kiss was so bittersweet. They know they can't be physically together since they live in different countries & in different worlds. But there is love between them. When you love someone, you never let him/her go. Plus, Vin always keeps his promises. The ending for me was realistic, even if it hurts, it's damn realistic. They will have like a long distance relationship. They both know that they love each other, so it's different now. Once in a while they'll be able to meet. Vin would come to Korea for just a day as he did in the end of the episode, or either CY would go to his island. OR, just meet in another country. Their story will continue. Because, you never give up on people you love. And they love each other. -END-

When this scene came on, I was like yasss girl, come send your man off with tears in my eyes because damn I never love before but I felt that. The final episode was sad but I wouldn't have it any other way. Chayoung, you strong independent woman. Her sadness is shown on her face but she never lets it get in the way.

@@melxian5617 I find JYB acting to be far more superior to that of most kdrama actresses. I am not trying to put anyone down, and i have not watched all of SJK dramas with other leading actresses, however based on what I have seen JYB is more versatile and believable.

A drama which really shows that a true love doesn't need any words to describe feelings.
They risked their everything for each other without saying "I will give up my life for you", and that's the most powerful thing about this drama.
In this show, Cha-young is the ONLY person Vin voluntarily hugs like that. All their scenes together in Episode 20 make me cry. Such a bittersweet love story makes so much more of an emotional impact than any happy-ever-after ending. For an amazing mix of dark comedy, action, tragedy and romance, Vincenzo is my vote for BEST K-drama EVER. ❤️❤️ So thankful to the writer for coming up with this multilayered storyline and the cast and crew for bringing it all to life.
The chemistry between SJK and JYB are amazing! And when I see the BTS video I cant help but to ship them.. 😭😭 Vincenzo season 2 please with the same main cast 🙏🙏🙏

V started out as a cold person unable and unwilling to accept love. At the end of the series, he was still cold but he also learned what love was. I really believe they will live happily ever after. they will be together in Malta.

This scene literally broke me. It's obvious both don't want to leave each other's company, but there is no other option. Their reunion 1 year later, was also iconic.

-The way their last goodbye scene after the kiss was so bittersweet. They know they can't be physically together since they live in different countries & in different worlds. But there is love between them. When you love someone, you never let him/her go. Plus, Vin always keeps his promises.
The ending for me was realistic, even if it hurts, it's damn realistic. They will have like a long distance relationship. They both know that they love each other, so it's different now. Once in a while they'll be able to meet. Vin would come to Korea for just a day as he did in the end of the episode, or either CY would go to his island. OR, just meet in another country. Their story will continue. Because, you never give up on people you love. And they love each other.
