We rescued an Iggy Mix… Rat Terrier. He favors the Iggy in his ways and features. Long legs, slim but bones are thicker. Def Velcro dog. Such a sweet boy. Was hard to potty train but 98% now. Your videos are so helpful and enjoyable. Keep ‘em coming! Texas USA

Guys if you own an italian greyhound could you help me with this? I just wanna know if this dogs have that “dog smell”like other dogs have ,basically many dogs stink,I have been told that this breed doesnt smell ,its that true??
I would say it‘s true, yes.
no they do not
IGs are about as clean an animal as your gonna find in the entire animal kingdom. No, they don’t stink in the least, but a few things to consider: if you feed them bad food, it may effect that. If you take them out in the rain, there may be that dog smell you were referencing, but it would be very mild and very brief: they have almost no fur/hair.
Bathe them once a month, but touch, pet and cuddle them constantly, and they smell like you!
I know they heavy, oily smell big and hairy dogs give off, especially if they get wet. After owning 3 Whippets and 3 Iggys, I can safely say, the dog and your house will not smell that way with 99% assurance.
