I want more carbonation experiments from both of you - fun demonstration and taste test!
Lol!! What should we carbonate next...?
@@ecscoffeeincHow do we feel about tomato soup?
I bought this one month ago because I use soda stream and loved the design program of this product and the ability to carbonate most liquids directly in the bottle. I am a huge Breville fan and did not even hesitate to order this. My excitement turned to disappointment fairly quickly. Let’s start with the idea of your carbonation preferences, as was demonstrated here this product does not operate well if you prefer more carbonation as you saw with the orange juice, 3 instead of 4 taps. ( I could go on but I’ll leave at that) The removable base continually traps liquid and it leaks out because it has perforations designed to do just that, but if for any reason your bottle has too much fizz when you remove the in bottle carbonator it gets into the base and when you place it on a counter or table it leaves a liquid ring. Really I am still trying to get this to work smoothly and effortlessly, it just shouldn’t be this hard. I’d return it if I could but that ship has sailed, I firmly believe this product was rushed to market without enough testing.
I thought initially you were going to try and sell this to me, but you guys are so honest and your faces when you drank the coffee was pure comedy. I am so pleased that even though you have a very professional setup, that you showed the issues without making it look really bad.
Such a fun to watch this!!! Every reviewer should do this kind of script free reviews!! Absolutely no commercial here.
Thank you! We definitely strive to provide you with unfiltered and real reviews!
Love the breakdown of this machine Wendy and Rebecca..
The coffee tasting was priceless 😂😂 very funny and informational
Thanks! 😃
I can't wait for the video of this 2 assemble IKEA furniture. 😂😂😂
hmm... "How to set up a coffee bar with Ikea firniture"
❤❤nice🎉
So the thing with CO2 is that during the carbonation some of the CO2 and H2O end up forming carbonic acid which has a mild tartness to it. That is why the coffee tasted different than the nitro cold brew you were hoping it to be like.
I'm curious if it would curdle milk, and maybe that is the reasoning they say not to.
Good tip!
do the soda stream co2 canisters also work with this?
Yes they do
will it leave gross coffee stains ?
use a £20 one, i do apple juice just fine, a fancy cap whixh is £21 which mke you buy a £200 machine, just use a normal one and give it a minute tocalm down
I can get my 25lb Co2 tank refilled for $20. The cartridge refills are such a ripoff. There should have been a port in the back for a hose hookup for a large tank.
That's why I have the DrinkMate OmniFizz. Easy to attach the connection hose in the back. I have a 10lb tank. It serves me great!
Drinkmate has been making the same device for years, at less than half the price. Nothing to see here...
Not familiar with Drinkmate in Canada, but this one does not just water, but everything except Milk. New for us anyway:)
Sage is better though!
@@CDPA7 How? Is it twice as good?
I thought about getting Drinkmate but im a sucker for a better aesthetic.
@@JazerMartinez Well, there is that, I guess 😊
Too messy and time consuming
What is messy or time consuming about it? You fill a bottle and press a button a few times.
One of you should do the video, not two. Mass confusion
Sorry we confused you
They are bouncing off eachother with different opinions. Great review and enjoy the unplanned style of it where you are just throwing ideas at the product. Well done ladies.
@@ttr7 They don't even appear to understand why nitrogen is used for coffee instead of CO2
@@bostonbesteats364 No harm in testing things out!
@@bostonbesteats364 You never, ever know if you never have a go. I would personally rather see things go wrong on video, helps others understand what happens when it does for them. Way better than just being told.
