Cut the grass to expose the snakes is Both a phrase we use and what needs to actually be done. If I cut my grass after a couple of weeks without doing so, you will see all the snakes slithering away.
1) Prequel: Ronnie becoming who he is by being crucified (metaphorically by the public) by the people in power and learning he has power over some people (those that hate that are always talking about him behind his back - the power that he is always on their mind). He gets pulled in both directions (good and evil) and doesn't pick a side. Then he finds his suit. 2) Popular Monster: Still being crucified in the public eye so he turns into a popular monster and murders a bunch of people. 3) Ronald: While being transported after getting picked up for the PM murders, he breaks out of the police vehicle and escapes. He meets God in Purgatory (Tech 9) and He has him use his suit, become a hero and fight the devil. 4) Watch the World Burn: Even after being a hero, the public still looks down on him and turns against him so he turns into the villain once and for all and Burns the World. 5) Last Resort: The world is fixed.
Yeah, the snakes in the grass saying has been around forever. I immediately think of Joyner using it in that Lucky You song with Em. Snakes in the grass, tryin to slither fast and I just bought fuckin lawnmower.
