A few people managed to escape Jonestown. They witnessed most of the town thought this was a rehersal which they were also forced to participate in. They were all forced to do this at gunpoint. Jonestown has been reclassified into mass murder/massacre based on this testimony. It was awful 😢
Weirdly enough I talked to a girl in her early 20s from Guyana and she had no idea what the Jonestown massacre was. I felt so stupid lol i wonder if it’s mainly Americans who focus on it.
This was an interesting and sad history to learn about. My heart goes out to the victims of Jonestown and their families. On a lighter note… I learned stainless steel is made from manganese 😅 I had no idea !
