While it’s great to see what’s happening with the station’s progress, as a Springfield resident of 20+ years it’s sad to see how little of the area I grew up in remains as I remember it. That country lane down New Hall was always a quaint world away from the hustle and bustle of suburbia. Likewise before they built new Beaulieu, walks around the old farm was always a highlight of the week for me. All in the name of progress I guess.
