Kingdom Come - Hardcore Henry part 17 - Heretics, Witches and Charcoal Burners!

- Could this be the darkest episode of this series so far?
Henry goes to investigate a bunch of Heretics at Uzhitz, but then finds out there are witches and worse of all...charcoal burners all around!
Its time for Henry to start purging the area clean, and set the world right!
Also, is Henry the new lord of darkness? Hard to say. Anyways...
Release the cumans!
Plot twist: Burning of Skalitz was work of charcoal burners
Heathens
Best comment.
I think we need to make it canon in KCD somehow that charcoal burners are the scum of Bohemia. I am sure the devs wouldn't mind, afterall, we have all this video proof!
@@helicalgoose Yes we need that! I mean aint it such a big coincidence that whenever there is some raid, burning or pillage there are charcoal burners right around the corner? They profit the most from it as they can then take the charcoal that is left. History books are wrong, Sigismund wasnt the one who was razing Czechs but it were charcoal burners all along.
@@ExtremeMan10 This actually makes the most sense.
I have a vivid image in my head of just a gang of charcoal burners collecting burnt pieces of Skaltz to haul away and sell on the market for profit :P
I love this series so much i am watching the episode immediately as it releases! Please keep producing this amazing series!
same
Ah many thanks :D I will try to keep them going as long as I keep having fun with them!
From 3:50 onward, as soon as the spooky music kicks in and we see heretic-hunting Henry in his black robes, had me slayed!! 😭😭 🤣
Every NPC in Bohemia acts tough until they start to hear that spooky music start to play ;)
5:40 Henry's true form, faceless demonic shadow
Proof that Henry is a sociopathic spawn of satan
I love how this guy is always seemingly holding back psycho Henry tendencies. It's fucking hilarious lol
Someone has got to slow down Henry, otherwise there would be no Bohemia to save after awhile.
"Send the plague down to the Cumans"
So that's how the philosopher from the last episode mysteriously died
Poor philosopher, minding his own business until someone prays for him to catch the plague out of nowhere :(
@@helicalgoose The Cuman philosopher offered them peace and they only prayed for him to die harshly, the people of Bohemia really don’t appreciate wise men
I didnt realize how much I valued your content until I began having withdrawals. Have you considered picking up other single player games? Cyberpunk perhaps?
Absolutely on another single player game. I think I am going to finish out this series first, then take a couple weeks off to get into the grove of another game or do a long term project idea I have.
Haven't decided quite yet, but I do plan to do another game, maybe like this? Maybe Fallout 4? Hard to decide quite yet, been having fun with KCD still, so I am still chugging along :D
Imagine being a simple god fearing farmer in this time and age. and suddenly everything goes downhill, your wife has to flee and you think THATS the worst part of the story until the lunatic you've heard murdering people and throwing his meat everywhere in corners shows up in your house at night telling you he's going to kill the vicar for you and doesn't accept a no.
I was just thinking that during this quest, Henry does not want to charge the guy anything for this.
There is usually a reward option that you can pick up if asked but here, Henry is just "It will be my pleasure" and goes off killing once again.
But how could that guy refuse such a generous offer by Henry anyways...well if he values his life he won't refuse :P
"Sees the horse bridge" Doesn't even acknowledge it and starts going around XD
I think "Horse Bridge" finally broke me.
I was trying to screw with the NPCs, but just ended up screwing myself.
In the cut-content I can jump over the horses, but 1/3 times I fall to my death which does bring some thrill to the game, but also on hardcore mode, that long ride back after dying is a bit painful :P
Several episodes ago I wrote that Henry should see a psychiatrist or at least father Godwin, but it seems that visiting Godwin didn't help at all, the way Henry speaks about murdering the vicar is kinda scary (and the reason why Henry hates charcoal burners is because he's the first European eco-activist - he wants people to stop using fossil fuel in 15 century!)
Before doing this episode I never paid too close attention to the Farmer Bauer's dialogue with Henry, but you're right it is kind of scary. "It will be my pleasure..."
Like damn Henry, what did this guy do to you? Kick your favorite dog or stole your sweet roll?
@@helicalgoose Henry becomes the savage he is 😂
This channel is so underrated. Best KCD content out there
Charcoal burner: “God save you”
Henry: “No GOD SAVE YOU”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I find myself just saying that out of nowhere. Its like these NPCs do not know what is coming for them ;)
@@helicalgoose You know I get that thought when any NPC tells me “god save you Henry” or “god bless” I literally find myself automatically saying “Nooo I wish god could save you” 😂😂😂😂
@@BlackBirdFlyAway The thought always cross my mind, like you have no idea what is going to happen to you do you? Poor NPC :P
*Drinks a Savior Schnapps potion and pulls out a mace*
@@helicalgoose When it’s Hardcore Henry you better watch out 😂😂
amazing video brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha, Yeeeeeaaaah Brooootheerr!
God, I forgotten all about that :P
13:38 that was hilarious! It was like her head turned into a speed bag!
Oooo that is a good idea. If I had a sound effect for that, it would've been amazing. Thanks for the idea :P
i like you
Such bromance.
THISTLE, NOOOOOO!!!!!
Also, Hardcore mode is slowly chipping Helical's sanity away.
What can I say, but Henry made me do it :P
Every character Henry is talking to is naked. Coincidence?... I don't think so
Level 20 pickpocket just hits different with Henry around ;)
“Speak up you old hag or I’ll wring your neck!” 🤣🤣🤣
God, the voice options/voice acting in this game is so good. A slight mix and match just makes me laugh all over the place :P
1:05 You didn't finish your sentence there, but I'm assuming you wanted to do the Leap Of Faith from Assassin's Creed?
You exactly have it correct!
I cut out the part I stumbled about the assassin's creed bit, and then said, well that needs to be cut. And also Henry went on a small murder rampage afterwards so things needed to be changed ;)
How do you trigger that first dialogue with the inkeeper? xddd Low reputation?
I think I talked to the inn keeper after I did a slight mass murder rampage, so I think low reputation is the key, but I was shocked to hear it, like I did not even know that was a thing.
The extra dialogue in this game is amazing! :P
I really love how Henry has these psycho dialog options and then just briefly after can play the innocent holy helpful guy and get celebrated for it. He's clearly a psychopath. Even my innocent Henry playthrough Henry version turned out psycho. Man I love how Hanusch knew Henry hard murdered the guy hahaha. I didn't kill any civilians or innocent people until one day i saved 3 guards in Skalitz from Bandits but the guards saw me loot a fallen comrade and well.. there weren't any witnesses around so Henry's morals just went straight out of the window.
Honestly some of the dialogue in the game catches me off guard. I really don't suspect it to have the psychopath options in the game like that or either like you said with Sir Hannush knowing that Henry just murdered the game without any remorse.
Uzhitz is even worse when you remember you gained the curse of literacy there. yikes.
You got to study the dark arts to be able to recognize the signs and conditions that Heresy and Witchcraft occurs!
It was a necessary evil!
10:24 deploying tactical cuman
I completely forgotten all about this episode. Thanks for commenting on this, what the heck has Henry done lol
Henry is the Dark Brotherhood, but he's the entire hand, the night mother and Sithis too.
Guy is so fast he doesnt even need the dark horse
I was honestly thinking about the dark brotherhood while recording this, but I did not get any edits to make that happen, but in the future! I got to figure that out :P
Heretics, witchcraft and even the charcoal burners?! I think every single place there needs to be purged! By theresa.. :D
We are writing up an special order for Theresa to wipe the town of Uzhitz off the map. We are not certain how, quite yet, but I think something with fire sound appropriate ;)
20:50 Holy skill
I was actually very surprised to see Father Godwin actually put a fight. I do not remember what got him all riled up because usually he just runs to the guard, but this time he started to run at me like "Get some!" with his wooden sword. Or should I say, Henry's wooden sword ;)
@@helicalgoose I guess when he’s training with the wooden sword he pretends to put up a fight but he will run immediately if he got hit once with an actual sword
@@helicalgoose I guess when he’s training with the wooden sword he pretends to put up a fight but he will run immediately if he got hit once with an actual sword
Why is there an option to lockpick the boar's ass at 24:58 ?
Haha, as part of the quest you pick one of the animals you want to be with, then you have to go behind them and "lockpick" them.
It would be better if I did not have "Master thief" perk because then you start to jingle around with lockpicks behind whichever animal, it is a strange quest. Not a satisfying ending (reputation wise), but it is one of the more clever quests out there.
2:13 Of course you took his clothing. I'm disappointed with myself that it took me off guard. My path in the 'sudden humour' is lacking; and for that I need to train again.
That was actually frustrating to take his clothes in that area with his two guards.
However, the two guards he has with him luckily are set to be "incompetent" on the NPC scale, so with a little work I was able to get his clothes.
I won't be keeping them, since the threads do not suit Henry, also people will not shut up about how Henry should be in the Monastery :P
17:23 it's stupid to attack an armed person, suicidal I'd tell. So this charcoal burner has deserved it. I had killed him when I was doing for the first time and I will continue to do so. Of course developers did much, but this one character is their fault (like the others who attack with bare hands against the sword)
It is actually quite comical that a few fights in this game from random quest, people will try to fist fight you, but you can still pull out a mace and give them the tried and true donk to the head :P
Two playthroughs, I activated the witch quest and the priest quest at the same time, where I end up failing both. I wish I knew to wait and ask the priest for help until another time.
Yup, there are lots of options in this game that actually has further interactions with the NPCs that opens up more options.
It is quite a stir and sort of annoying to be like, "oh how should I know to go back to the NPC who gave me the quest that they would help me out?"
But then it got me thinking that, why do not more games do this when it makes more sense that the NPCs giving the quest could do more? KCD really does show that it puts in more effort than plenty of other RPGs at least with dialogue quests.
these videos are my lucid dreams
Thou shall not hurt thy neighbor, Fucker.
:D
This is just the average day for Henry ;)
excellent
:D
Glad to see you back!
I'm playing this game again because your videos motivate me lol
Same here. First time playing Hardcore
Got to give it another shot :D
Once you get into it, the game becomes a whole different beast, not entirely different but a good change.
Hope you enjoy the first time through hardcore mode :D
@@helicalgoose I actually completed the game in hardcore with all negative perks and also merciful. I pretty got bored after but now im just starting a playthrough where i slaughter everyone because my bloodlust is thirsty after merciful.
@@frns_lmao Merciful playthrough is tough if you're going for the long haul.
I had to rush through that playthrough because I could feel my Henry having the desire to start a mass slaughter.
I do love that everyone's boredom is fixed by starting a war with all of Bohemia, Henry verse everyone! Not a fair fight for them.
and again video start from some crime things :D
ty for you content. love it
Haha, glad you're still around enjoying it :D
And the laws in Rattay are pretty strict. A man can't just stand on a roof anymore?
The guards are getting out of control!
Fun fact - that bone armor the bandits wear when Henry is f****d up can be used by Henry. But only way to get it, is with cheat engine by spawning correct bandits.
I honestly spent too much time trying to get around those NPCs, because you can sort of "lose" them by riding your horse so the combat arrows goes gray, but they seem to have a sixth sense to where you're at, even at maxed out stealth.
I will have to try again perhaps, I was short on time to give a complete study, but that bone armor I want it, without cheating if possible ;)
@@helicalgoose Oh, that is brilliant! I have never tried that. Just randomly found out, one can spawn them, when i was inflicting havoc in Rattay(and converting game to slideshow)
Every time I see this series pop up in my feed I'm like that meme were the fantasy character nods
Oddly enough, the characters in this game when they talk nod at least once in their conversation. I could almost make an entire video pointing this out or overlaying it :P
Love your edits!
Ah many thanks for making it this far into the series! Somehow the edits just keep coming and they don't stop coming, they hit ground running...:P
Great to see Henry so committed to doing God's work.... you sure are lucky you didn't get turned into a newt though!
Henry is immune to heretics, witchcraft, and charcoal burners.
Can't turn Henry into a newt or make him use charcoal over propane while doing his BBQ!
Hank Hill knew this, which is why he only used a clean burning fuel like propane. Taste the meat, not the heat.
@@helicalgoose Wise words indeed.
Love ur vids, bcs of you i started playin kcd again after 4 yrs lol, got a question tho, how in the world does your horse have 65 speed, am using Jenda, which as far as i know is faster then Al Buraq, i put the Noble Bridle and Noble saddle (4 saddlebags) and military horseshoes and got 49 speed, am I missing something here ?
Maybe horse riding skill plays a part into it or the weight on the horse?
I know I checked again recently while I was playing and my horse speed was only 62, so I am curious too since I did not really change anything to the horse items it wears, but maybe the weight has something to do it with it?
And 49 speed is really low! I will have to check to again in details but I want to say I might have the military bridle on too. If you're rich enough (or sneaky enough) I would grab all of them and try to freely compare. Off top of my head I do not remember which one is better.
And glad you got back into KCD again. The game still has some bugs but its much more playable than 4 years ago :P
@@helicalgoose ye, i don't know, i know Jenda is much better horse than the arab one, so i was confused, imma try the military one and see, also will check if the weight plays a role, since i learned a trick or two from you, i am rich enough, haven't managed to get 700k in one shot from Peschek (Jesus Christ / watch your mouth boy !...cracks me up every time) but i am earning a lot lol . Bugs yes, just yesterday i was chasing some deers and fell under the map, lucky i saved otherwise i would have been pissed lol
" just yesterday i was chasing some deers and fell under the map"
Yup, that sounds like KCD :P
The good part is that if you fall under the map it just puts you back where you fell at which is nice.
Now if you get stuck there (which sometimes happens)Try looking up and shoot arrows, for some reason the arrows can collide with Henry's body and push him out a bit to properly fall. But as always a previous save works too :D
And honestly 700K is way too much money. I have been overpaying and just buying out merchants and dropping stuff just to get their reputation up. That is the only reason Henry has positive reputation in all the towns even with all the jerk moves he has been doing :P
@@helicalgoose ha, i didn't knew that, was thinking imma fall to my death so decided to reload, thank you for the tip :D. Also , I just checked, the horse loots doesn't impact the speed, military horseshoes and noble bridle and noble saddle with 4 saddlebags is best you can get for a horse, thing is, i have heavy duty pony perk, so yea, would explain why my speed so low, once i am done being a loot goblin imma switch to racehorse :D, btw love the rdr2 song you put sometimes, i think rdr2 series would be hilarious as well (imo), if u didn't make it, kinda new to your channel so am stuck at kcd atm and love it lol xD
Haha, that is right the perk sort of kills the speed.
I use to go with Heavy pony perk (I was a loot goblin too) until I figured out that I could make Henry a millionaire by other means, then racehorse was the perk for me.
Also you can use the horse to kill people with higher speeds (like ramming them), which is why racehorse perk is more interesting again.
And I am sort of playing between Witcher 3, RDR2, and Mass Effect seeing what I could make into the next series.
All of them are fun, but not 100% certain which one would be enjoyable to screw around with :P
But yah KCD is a great game, with all the DLC its about 80-100 hours of playtime so being stuck with it for awhile is understandable.
10:28 "Hello ladies"
I can't 😂😂😂
The cuman just wanted to say hello and see what was going on :P
I am back ready to watch Henry commit war crimes:D
I like to think that Henry is an arbitrator of Bohemian justice ;)
U shld become the arbitrator of skyrim justice:D
@@rettyrex2401 Well don't just stand there lad, pour us a drink! :D
Yayyyy a new episode
yay, welcome back for a new episode :D
I like, how the willingnes of peasants to fight Henry with fists equals to drawing out a butter knife on someone with machine gun.. Sadist perk activated 🤌
The peasants in Bohemia are strange.
They either run away so much as if a gnat comes too close to their ham sandwich or they either square up and ready to fight like Mike Tyson if they see a fully armored knight with a bloody axe in hand.
Love your content mate!
hurry up and finish so I can binge watch everything
There is a new one today, but I honestly do not know when the series will end, it keeps growing! O.o'
