Great info Sam, I think you are spot on about the Startline + BP vs Highline, something I had already looked at when I was sourcing my van for you to convert. I couldn't quite believe the value for money of the Startline + BP. As you know, I was lucky enough to find a really good deal on a Highline DSG in the end, but wouldn't have hesitated at all at a manual Startline + BP for the price. Only comment I'd make is I found the Adaptive Cruise Control absolutely brilliant when I drove my donor van up to you last week. That said, not worth extra £3-4k on its own!
Thanks for the comment Chris, the T6.1 Startline with Business Pack is definitely worth considering as there isn't a huge amount of difference compared to the Highline as you say. We're looking forward to seeing your completed camper in a couple of weeks!😁
The adaptive cruise control loss would be a deal breaker for me. I absolutely love it on my van. I've never had it before, but I wouldn't be without it now. Others that haven't had it though, if you can save 3 or 4 grand then its perfect.
