I decided to just go find a cracked version. Forget Rockstar and their stupid launcher. I bought the game and they are so intent on people not stealing it, legit people who bought it can't even play it. Definitely won't be buying 6 unless they remove that stupid launcher requirements.

@@cyberdannydmorgan5863 I just downloaded the NoGTAV launcher. You still have to sign into social club at least once but it pretty much stops the game from forcing updates. It will also stop you from playing online. I wanted to get it working for VR and so NoGTAV launcher worked well for that purpose I don't have to worry about updates.

you probually powered your pc off by the button or your virus protection deleted it, go to chrome and do ctrl + j and search thru your downloads and try to find your mods

Also uninstall rockstar launcher and social club.
