Wonder how many phones and cameras do not make it to the other side?

I bet a lot. I was using a small tripod and they sell phone holders that go around your neck at the shop. I bought one of those and used it as well.

Yes, I would too! Even the sitting catwalk. A steel bar runs right at your stomach, so there's a very minimal chance to fall.

I would walk out there not a problem, but the people that do this and then jump off of places like this are nuts....lol

They have 1 day a year called Bridge Day. People parachute off and bungie off the bridge. That is not for me. This is more my speed. LOL. Thanks for stopping by to watch. ~RVA~

I have traveled, camped, hiked, and explored all over the great state of West Virginia and my family is actually from there. I actually love it. Everyone is different with their likes and dislikes but I think it’s a highly underrated state and it’s absolutely gorgeous in the outdoors with the mountains, rivers, lakes, trails, and landscape.

@@RVAHikerGirl I am a retired Canadian trucker and have been across that bridge many times and that area is my favorite part of the US. i can honestly say you will not find people with more to give and having nothing. I may go back and spend some tourist dollars as I love the area thks

@@gettingold59 My mom was from West Virginia, born and raised. I know many folks from West Virginia and they are all the kindest people. I went up to Gauley Bridge and enjoyed a resturant right on the river right by the Kanawha waterfall. Harpers Ferry is another town that I love. I have explored a lot of the outdoors in WV but look forward to exploring more.
