@@erickschusterdeoliveira2662 i have no idea of what im doing when I do play it, and i have 300+ hours in caves of qud. Think imma wait for the full release
This game is pretty cool but it still needs a lot of work. I know its been getting pretty consistent updates but its still in fairly early access. Very interesting concept that ill be checking up on to see how it develops.
Maybe before the family and settlement update it was early-ish but the dungeons and economy works really well with all the skills you can learn and the crafting mechanics, together with your party you can take full settlements on your own you should check the first Soullash if you want to see a "finished" product from the same dev muajaja
yeah I think we're at 0.8 right now but the roadmap looks solid and the dev has been pretty active, this is for sure an indie game I'll be playing a few times a year and checking up on what's new
Next planned update is going to introduce war between settlements. That'll make tiny worlds a Thunderdome and I can't wait. : ) More interaction between towns and settlements is really all this game is seriously lacking to make it feel like a truly living world, tbh.
Kind of reminds me of Mount and Blade with the character creator. Idk if you have ever played those games but I could spend hours in those just killing forest bandits lol.
If you make another vid of this (of which I'd enjoy) could you possibly see if there is a way to increase font and hud size a bit? This game is a lot of menus and I tend to watch on my phone and I cannot tell half of what's going on due to it.
Will do! I'm playing on my monitor up close so yeah it's way easier for me, I appreciate that feedback a lot though I'll be able to keep that in mind and seeing as this video is doing incredible and I'm enjoying the game a lot so far I'll be playing more of it on Lea-fy the reptilian, thanks for the support!
Have heard of this game but hadn’t checked it out until I saw this video title. Also, appreciate the bait and switch from nms to real survival crafting games 👌😎 would be stoked to see you do some cataclysm: dark days ahead, cogmind, caves of qud, etc.
Nice video. One thing though based on the gear you started with and the fact you instantly started looking for food and bones for a knife let’s me know you either played it a decent amount before not just for a min, or you watched videos about how to start before making this one lol. Nothing wrong with either but if you really did not play more the a few mins before starting this the you are either crazy smart or super lucky to know and guess all the things to start with and looking for. Took me many many deaths to figure out all that haha :] hope you have a great day thanks for the vid. More people need to see this title for sure glad to see others making videos and streaming it ty
You keep equipping and unequipping your torch. If you put it in the second slot, there's a one and two above the weapons and you hit shift x it'll switch between those that way it'll automatically equip
I am really loving playing this game so far. I'd like to suggest that instead of selling your crafted items, you should just salvage them. In fact you can salvage most items in your inventory which will raise the related skill. It shows you what skill when you hover over the item. This levels up skills and you make money by selling more valuable things like metal ingots etc. Actually I made money off cooked fish and raw clay sometimes. You'd be surprised.
Do you have any idea how this game works with a controller? I'm thinking about getting it but I mostly play games on my steam deck. I cant find any info about it anywhere
i will say theres a lot you can do gameplay wise but it is very grind heavy leveling up weapon and armor smithing is hella tedious. you can mod around a lot of the things you dont like too.
the one thing I *really* hate about this game from watching is the way characters are depicted in the world. I get what they're going for, but this style of icon just looks ugly and silly. edit: that aside, I'm looking forward to the full release.
Love the game! I bought to support the dev after he fought that battle against the woke "modern audience" - already sinked in 30+ hrs. The game still needs a lot of content. I mean - the "history" and game world created is still very flat and simplified. I wish for history closer to dwarf fortress. I think that after implementation of factions and battles this will change a bit :)
SaulAsh 2 it's not that good, the other two I had the phenomenal time with, he's trying to be many things at the same time sadly at this point doesn't seem like the pieces are working together the developer seems have a goal so I will try it again when it's fully released
I would say this game feels like finished in 40-60% max. Yet it's amazing project and kind of my game where I can roleplay a lot more than in many high-end top tier graphically games
As a gay person, the dev is not anti LGBT/homophobic, but anti "forced representation". The dev only went harsh once yall rainbow mafia people started hounding him for daring to not instantly switch his focus on implementing something that would not make sense in this game (as a lineage game). He did not even say it will never happen, but that at the time it was not something he would focus on due to it needing too much of a code rewrite in established systems. Tho yes, you are not welcome in the community, but not because you are gay, but because of your weaponized victim-complex and eagerness to demonize anyone that does not go out of their way to ignore their vision and pander to your whims.
We're glad you like it!
Im kinda new to knowing your game, and I didnt found a wiki Page for it. Do we have unarmed combat in it, is possible to suplex people?
You guys are awesome, thanks for trying to do something creative nobody tried before, just got Soulash 2 on steam
please add another way to represent characters in the map, the icons are so offputting

As someone who recently discovered Kenshi and got 200 hours in 2 months I am sad to say there is nothing out there like Kenshi
Your mom likes Kenshi
Matchless kungfu is similar, maybe you could try it out

Same. It's actually feels like roguelike/sandbox "mount-and blade".

Man I'm not gonna lie, the graphics put me off so bad. Can't stand how the characters are just portraits. I'd rather stick to KeeperRL
I tried getting into this game..but unfortunately its not for me. Ill stick to dwarf fortress instead

2024 and the dev purposely makes his game looks as ugly as possible
The game made by a homaphobic dev who bans people for negative reviews? Gross.

I don't know, man. No one wants to play a digital game where your character is fuckn coin. Looks cool, but the dev has to abandon that coin shit.
