Without a doubt one of the best videos I have ever used. Thank you very much. If it wasn't for you guys, I would've had to ship my coffee machine out to Jura and pay at least $400 to get it repaired. I ordered the parts from you guys received them in a couple days and it took me about five hours to get it done because I am a rookie. But I did it exactly the way you told me and the machine works beautifully I just enjoyed my first coffee from my 10 year old Jura Capressa Impressa S9 in about a week. Thank you very much
Had these great folks service my E9. They did a great job and I would use them again. Although I watched the videos, I realized it was over my head. So, off to the experts. Thank you very much.
I would like to say. Thank you for sharing. I have a long time ago had you work on my s9 2 time and 2 other. Now I Have a s9 for the last 3 1/2 years and all is good. I do clean it with my hand up in side of it. But I do not take it apart.
Dear Sir.Madam, I stumbled upon your video and wanted to express sincere gratitude and compliments on the technical manner in which you explained and prepared the video. It was sincerely one of the best tech Videos I have seen. Great Work and thank you,
This is very good material, thanks, Guru, but a couple of times now you've taken us to extraction of the brew group, but no further. We really need to see how to disassemble the BG and to clean and lubricate it. I do hope you're going to show us that. Thanks again.
hi, thank you for the detailed video, i wish i had seen it before i digged into my jura s95. problem with mine was it wasnt rinsing, the rinse water would drop in the tray and not come out of the front nozzles. i've read a post about how coffee grounds can cause blockages, and i opened up the machine and i washed it :P (yea i know) , after washing i used a powerful air blower to dry all parts and left machine to dry for 24 hours. next day i checked all electronic parts and dried again with close blow air compressor, so yes the washing was a bad idea but it got everything clean and no short circuits occured. however, this time i began getting malfunc 8 error. i guess i washed off the grease in the mechanic unit and now it was jamming, hence i pulled it apart , replaced the orings (one of them was damaged) assembled everything back made sure everything moves smoothly but i am still getting malfunc 8. i watched your video and made sure i install it back in home position but it doesnt help. in fact even when the plunger unit isnt installed at all, when powered on motor acts exactly as if the unit was in and still displays malfunc 8. any help would be much appreciated.
Hello Glen, After rebuilding the brew group, please ensure the brew group is in a home position. Our video details what brew group home position is. Also, please make sure the brew group is re-installed correctly. That is, big white gear on the brew group is seated properly into the teeth of the metallic cylindrical gear. The metallic gear should be seated and aligned with small white gear on the brew group motor.
+Parts Guru Hi , thank you for the prompt reply. i had already installed it at home position several times, but today i tried it again with more attention. however, result doesnt change. i set the unit as shown in video about 3.5 teeth down from top, with brewer cylinder at the very bottom but motor goes left right left right pushes down a bit and pushes it all the way up and stops with malfunc 8. is there a way of resetting the device ? or is there a sensor that tracks the mechanical movements which might have a fault? thank you in advnce
thanks for the great video, can you advise on best way to free a piece of coffee bean that made it thru bypass chute all the way to the hose that drips coffee into the cup. my wife poured beans rather than grounds into the bypass chute. so now i guess theres obstruction and back pressure so coffee leaks from some where behing jura badge .
Hi. In my Jura S7 water is going to collection container and dry coffee in ground container. What is wrong with drainage valve? I cleaned it two times. Thanks
Hi Ed, I have a few machines, Saeco comfort magic plus (love it) it's super user friendly. And recently purchased a Jura S9 from eb. I took it apart because the grinder adjustment didn't work and it was leaking at the back corner around the pump and diaphragm regulator. I have a couple of questions.1 there was a foam/foil insulator insi de the top cover not sure where it goes. 2 There is a four pin connector at the control board not connected. does it go to logic3/4 or none of the above? I appreciate any help you could offer. Thanks. David
Thanks a lot for this detailed video! With it I could open and remount my freshly bought S75 :) unfortunately it is not turning on, and this is the 3rd espresso machine this month that after transport is not turning on: is there a secret button that turns them on? I have thrown away the water in the tank and cleaned the drawers before moving them
Hi Diego, Was the machine functional before you remounted it? You mentioned this is your 3rd machine with the similar symptoms. How were you able to fix the previous two?
Hi, I have a Capresso C1000 and the front upper right control knob broke. Jura sent me a new control knob to replace it. What's the easiest way to do so without disrupting any other parts since the machine works well otherwise? Thanks! Tim
Hello, my machine has started to trip the GFI. Right before it does, I am noticing steam rising from the cup heating plate. Perhaps that moisture on the internal wiring is causing the trip? Does this mean there is a leak, perhaps dripping on the heater? What do you suggest to remedy this issue?
Please check the ceramic valve/diverter that distributes water for steaming and brewing. The ceramic valve is located behind the steam pipe and steam knob at front top right of the machine. It typically gets clogged due to calcium deposits.
I purchased parts for my E8 from Parts Guru to fix the leak (blown tubing) and it is working again! I still have a problem making coffee from beans (too weak, no crema) and that is next weekend's project.
I have a Jura J7 with restricted nozzles that disperse the coffee. How to remove them and clean them out? I viewed your very explicit disassembly of the unit that was very helpful but nothing to show how to remove and clean the dispersing nozzles. Please help.
Excellent video I have an S7 with Error Code 4 and would like to know how to access the harness, once I do then I can order the same from you. Please help by guiding me to the correct video by you
Hi John, The ERROR 4 in Jura S7 is related to the malfunctioning temperature sensor that is mounted on the steam thermoblock in Jura S7. There are two thermoblocks in Jura S7. The steam thermoblock is placed above the hot water thermoblock. We have the steam thermal sensor for Jura S7 in stock. Here is the link to purchase it: www.juraparts.com/products/jura-thermal-sensor-for-steam-boiler-s-x-models
I did purchase from you and let me tell you not all folks are as good as you people. I paid less than 50.00 to include shipping and now (thanks to your video) I have my coffee and saved 350.00. Once again many thanks and I wish I would have seen this video three other times before.
I have a Jura Impressa S8. Coffee and tea spout have worked constantly. I removed a hose from the steamer to unclog cuz my steam wand was not producing anything. After putting it back together, steam wand worked perfectly. When I went to de calcify, added the tablet and pushed the clean button, the entire process went through the steam wand! I reset to factory settings, re booted, and when I push rinse it again all goes through the steam wand. After "Coffee Ready" I pushed the coffee brew and the grinder activated but the water again came out the steam wand. My understanding is that if I leave it unplugged for 2 hours, the CPU will clear. Then I should get the "fill system" prompt. Right now I am only getting will water. If after the 2 hour wait is still does not channel the water to the coffee spout, I assume it is the fault of the water channeler that is behind the steam knob which has two line in's and 2 line outs. Before I did the repair and cleaning the coffee and tea spouts were functioning perfectly. Advice?
Hi, I am trying to open a Jura Xs90 One touch but there is two circle screw on the rear panel, which kind of screwdiver i need to use ? by the way thank you very much for this very usefull video !
Hi there. You will need an oval head tool to remove the rivet looking oval head screws from the rear panel. Here is the link to purchase the tool: www.shop.partsguru.com/Jura-Oval-Head-Key-Stainless-Steel-0010635.htm We are here to help, if you have more questions - Tommy
Yes, as shown in the video, you will need the oval key to remove the oval screws from the rear panel of your machine if you have an S Line model. What is the malfunction with your machine? And, what model Jura do you have?
Parts Guru I have the s9 model. The issue I have is there is no water passing through the coffee spouts. However, water passes through the steam spout. From your videos I'm guessing an issue with the spring section of the diverter. Also it sounds the the brew group is struggling to move so I assume it needs a good tune up.
I have a S9 that is showing system fill message, but puts the water into the tray. Does it over and over. I'm assuming i have a broken or disconnected hose. You mentioned the Oval head key and a hose repair kit, how do i purchase these? I'm in Honolulu. Can't find a Jura repair shop here, so i guess i have to do myself. Thank Good video BTW.
Hi, you can order the oval head tool to remove the rear panel from our website. We ship to Hawaii. Part number is 0010635. System Fill is due to a blockage in the hydraulic system. You should isolate the blockage or leaking point once the machine is opened.
Bought and received key, successfully dissembled the S9. Traced water from tank into pump, then into hydraulic distribution (white cylinder). Water appears to then go out from hub into drainage line under brew group and discharges into tray. Can’t figure out where any tube obstruction would be. Is it time to send it to the shop for repair? If the hydraulic distribution is dead or clogged then there’s lots of tubes and limited access. What am I missing?
Hi Charles, it can be fixed. I suggest you ship to us for repairs. Our address is listed on our website www.shop.partsguru.com. We’ll fix it within 2 weeks and let you know when it’s ready to be shipped back to you.
Great video - Thank you for posting. We have a JURA IMPRESSA Xs90. Just this morning I see the frothing nozzle is leaking steam from where the steel tube coming out of unit and bends down 90 degrees to where it enters the black plastic portion that accepts the rubber tube/gasket at the top of the removable nozzle stem. This unit has been perfect, and we have had it for several years - always use RO water and has a count of 9,615 on the INFO menu Can the nozzle be serviced without taking the entire unit apart as you show in VIDEO to disconnect it from steam select switch or is there an "O" ring between the stainless steel pipe and plastic? thank you again - Appreciate your on-line support for us DIY types.
Hi....is the frothing nozzle not properly connected to the steam wand? Please review the item below to see if that's what you need: shop.partsguru.com/Jura-Steam-Nozzle-Connector-0010650.htm We're here to help!
I have a Jura S9 Impressa that keeps telling me missing tray. I've cleaned the contacts on the tray and in the machine and no luck. Any suggestions on how to repair this issue.
After putting back the brew group I now have a error 8 code. When I watch the brew group move it seems to struggle at the very top. Could it be because I didn't put it back in a neutral position and it is trying to unscrew upwards further than is possible? Thanks
I too am having trouble with my S7 that it does not allow the steam to flow through the unit. It takes about 10+ tries to finally get flow to froth milk. Looking for video that addresses this issue. Thanks.
Hello friend, I have a JURA IMPRESSA S9 AVANTGARDE and for some time she asks me to "cleaned device", so I am the procedure and as soon as it is finished: I ask again "cleaned device". this does not prevent me from making coffee but remind me to do "cleaned NOW" .... what is the problem according to you ?? 🤔 your videos are top 👍 waiting for your return thank you in advance cordially
Hi, run the cleaning cycle as prompted. If that does not solve it, then it’s a power board malfunction. It’s an old model and perhaps a time to upgrade!
*I am totally happy with this machine>>>**ur2.pl/1165** it brews a perfect cup of coffee. Some of the negative reviews had me concerned but the negatives are minor compared with the perfect brew.Having had the previous swing machine for many years I find this coffee is hotter and keeps nice and warm for a long time with heated plate and the steel carafe. Also the brew settings are a big improvement, previously with the old pot I had to do a double grind to make six cups.*
This guy is eager to sell parts but to answer simple questions......awww... Not so much! Don't get me wrong, his input on how to get into the machine is very good but from that point on you better have some mechanical savvy or you will wish you never started. Haha

What do you recommend cleaning the brew group with. Should it be soaked in something or parts be manually cleaned?
Hi Dima, Clean the brew group components by dipping the parts in a soapy solution of luke warm water.
Parts Guru thanks a lot. Also to remove the brew group do I need the special oval key or is that just to open the one side panel? Thanks again!
Yes, as shown in the video, you will need the oval key to remove the oval screws from the rear panel of your machine if you have an S Line model. What is the malfunction with your machine? And, what model Jura do you have?

I have a Jura S9 Impressa that keeps telling me missing tray. I've cleaned the contacts on the tray and in the machine and no luck. Any suggestions on how to repair this issue.
I had a few beans fused together at the back where the tray goes in. Removed the ‘ muck’ and the problem was gone!
