I’m agnostic and I’m still not even sure why it makes me so happy to know that. I think that finding a part of myself and knowing that piece of the puzzle is very fulfilling to me. My brother is also agnostic and my grandmother used to make comments about him to me when I was little because my brother is nine years older than me. She used to say that he was lost and that I need to help him find his way. I love my brother for this and we have very similar outlooks on the world now. Moral of the story: knowing yourself and others can be what saves you.
I had the opposite experience from him. Grew up Catholic and as soon as I got to highschool I realized how non-Christian most Christians act. It’s supposed to be a religion about love and acceptance but from my experience it’s anything but that. I also was incredibly lazy and had a huge problem with procrastination. My excuse? I’ll get to do everything in Heaven. It made everything far easier to believe that there was always someone there for me, but eventually I started thinking “what if there is no God and I won’t be able to accomplish everything I want to in Heaven?” That thought becoming more and more prevalent in my mind as well as a variety of other factors I will not discuss caused me to agnostic/atheist. For clarification (because people always tell me I use those definitions wrong), I really don’t care if there is or isn’t a God. I don’t think there is, because of lack of scientific evidence, and I’ve leaned away from Christianity because most of them are either idiots or bigots/dogmatists, while the rest are using religion as a coping mechanism (good on them!) like Ryan here. That decision has made me far happier (albeit a bit nihilistic at times) and I’ve become far more productive and I’ve disciplined myself to get through mafan situations. May not seem like much, but we’ll get there. It may seem like I’m bashing Christianity, but I feel nothing but firgun for Ryan finding happiness in Jesus
Dude the comments here are so wholesome I love it so much how people are sharing their own options and beliefs without being hateful and showing love to one another. It's little moments like these that make life okay and show that there's actually okay people out there. I'm so glad that there are some people who don't believe all Christians are bad and stereotypical. Now I am a Christian and do I believe that there are really bad Christians out there? 100% yes. I hate how so much hate gets spread around by the people that are just meant to love everyone regardless. Christians aren't supposed to be known by their hypocrisy or judgement. They're supposed to be recognized by their love and patience and it should be spread to others equally. My heart reaches out to all that have had bad experiences/ trauma that have happened and the cause of it is from the church or someone who claims Christianity. I completely understand and I have been through this before. I deeply apologize and I hope that you are healing and know that you are loved and seen. I hope you have a wonderful day
Still didn't hear a strong rational argument about what changed his mind. Shouldn't there be a rational reason for changing views? I get the feeling that he might have been an atheist just because he didn't follow or grow into a religion and not because he put alot of thought into it and came to the logical conclusion to be one. It's much more easy to switch sides like this but this also means that the switch isn't that meaningful or like this big thing that should convince more people to turn Christian.
I'm Atheist but I understand that god and Jesus are supposed to be loving, but it's the actual people that practice that religion is what turns me away. The beliefs that a lot of Christians have disgusts me and it's not the way that Jesus/god would want to be like

I read an atheist post about the meaning of life is to help others and have a good time. I guess as a Christian my perspective is when serving others always to remind myself who I am working for. Sure, the Bible says to love others as you love yourself and love God. In my eyes, those two commands are two parts of the whole because you can’t do one without the other. It’s very easy to become invested in oneself. To pin metals on our chests for the good we do. But in the end. As Ecclesiastes puts it, it’s all vanity. We can do NO good that will endure forever. Day by day though, when you have an appreciation for the Creator, you start to see people differently. Granted, there are still people who do evil. If God is a righteous judge then those people will get their judgement. As for me, I just do my best to keep is commands and remember that my life is short in the grand scheme of things.

There was a time in my life where I was going thru SH*T like it was BAD BAD and no one could understand me even the people who went through it. I was extremely depressed and ignored god. After a while I found myself praying to him and after learning more about him then THAT got me out of that pure sadness. ❤
This makes me wish Ryan would be bold about his faith and incorporate it into his vids so that more people can find this overpowering love and joy through Ryan and God’s plans for him. May God’s will be done in his life. ❤😊🎉
ME TOO!! Atheist to christian 😭 And honestly I believe in god not only because of positivity but because of science :]
What?
That makes no sense. Do you want to explain?
@@marcomoreno6748 The universe is sure based off of science but there is certainly an engineer that made all of these to happen. It doesn't have to be the christian God but we know that there is a god since everything is engineered quite well, like how the planets could orbit around a sun or how a seed can turn into a plant and not any other plant, How America has 4 seasons and how our bodies operate are because of a great engineer or a higher being ✨God✨
@@agentalpha7061 How does anything you said point to a god? You’re trying to make the watchmaker argument, but that argument has been easily debunked hundreds of times in hundreds of different ways.
@@agentalpha7061 Having beliefs that don't correspond with reality, just because they "feel good" is not going to help you know what you should keep living for, and it's also harmful. If someone believes they've won the lottery, (even though they haven't), and spends their money as if they have won the lottery, they are going to cause tons of harm to themselves long term, even though their delusional belief that they won the lottery feels good to them.
Btw, atheists / secularists are not devoid of having something to keep living for. I just think you should be a little bit more skeptical rather than trying to confirmation bias your way into further believing in something.
i’m somewhat similar. i grew up in a very conservative southern baptist church and went along with everything until around high school. i was severely depressed and tried to off myself. i didn’t understand why, if God was so good, he didn’t either save me or just let me die. funnily enough, i’ve come back around more recently, getting back in prayer and things, after i discovered that i’m trans. i don’t really talk to any of the christians i knew irl before bc i don’t think they would be accepting, but God loves me and that’s all that matters.
Sending prayers and well wishes your way. Though I am a random stranger I just want to say never doubt God loves you and that He is happy to have you as a member of his family
Yo, that's actually such a cool testimony. I hope you have a great life and know that there are people that will be kind and accepting, Jesus is the perfect example of that! God bless!
GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOESOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE ....
GOD loves you BUT HORRORS YOUR SINS dude HELL IS YOUR PATH IF YOU DONT REPENT
I love that for you Nikolas!
As for me, I just do my best to keep is commands and remember that my life is short in the grand scheme of things.
good for him for being able to achieve such a good relationship with religion and god! it’s such a personal thing
Thanks for sharing this ❤️
It makes me happy to see how Jesus has changed his life 🥰
as a former Christian myself, im so proud of him and what he did. im glad that he learned about it and kept it with him and just…it makes me happy. good job Ryan 😝
Bro, always gutted when I hear someone left the faith. Get back in the Word and stay safe in these dark times.

@@cookimaus1Hey man, if you don’t have something productive to say, don’t say it. He left a nice comment, wishing the best for this person that they can come back to the faith. As a Christian I can confirm he is being legit, it always hurts to see people leave the faith, so your response it’s extremely unwarranted
@@cookimaus1 you cannot be talking..
As a Christian, I’m happy that one of my favorite RUclipsrs is going to heaven.

I was raised roman catholic and I'm highly educated in theology. Now im agnostic, and still find religion fascinating
Jesus is the way the truth and the life, man without Jesus hell is your DESTINY
@@johanneshartman4618 hell doesn't exist
Fear mongering does nothing. I don’t quite feel like reading a comment saying I’m going to burn forever and then choose to agree with that and live in forever fear. Be nicer next time and maybe I would consider. But your comment was basically “believe or die”
@@johanneshartman4618 that’s just harsh. I don’t mean to be rude or anything but if you don’t believe in a certain thing doesn’t mean you should go to hell because that makes absolutely no sense you get what I mean?

I Hope U Found True Love❤️
Very cool to hear this story
I just dont see what people see in believing something almost entirely fictional
I’m a atheist but I will never take away how important religion is to some people.
I love Ryan God bless
I just found his channel recently and dude is just a positive energy. It's really refreshing on this site to see someone with this message and his positivity.
Im a very skeptical atheist but I think this is so wonderful. I have nothing against religion when it has a positive affect on people psyche like with Ryan. Good for you man!
Whatever floats your boat! As long as it’s not hurting anyone, believe in it. I am mostly atheist but I have made my own sort of creator figure. It’s comforting tbh. It makes me happy to see people finding comfort in a religion that speaks to them. :)
"Eh not sure I vibe with your religion. How bout I just make my own? : )"

That's not what I got from his message, and I doubt that's what he meant.
I'm sure what he means is he's mostly an atheist, though he believes their is a creator or god out there somewhere
So whilst he lives life with atheist beliefs and under that lens, he's not entirely convinced that there couldn't be a creator
I'm very much the same
I'm not an avid believer in the religions we have on earth
But I am inclined to believe that there has to be a creator of some kind

Why are people praising for losing Faith, and becoming an Atheist.
But scoffed at for finding a Faith, and leaving Atheism behind.
Well, they're opposite things, so of course they'd have opposite reactions in some communities, but most of the time it's the other way around in this situation, and although I don't quite know what the metrics are here, there's a lot of people on both sides who are supportive
@@rowboat10 Yeah that is accurate. It seems like people enjoy the disbelief for some reason.
