    * You are responsible for the frontend and the quality control on the backend.
    * Don't miss potential strategic decisons by focusing on daily indiidual numbers
    * Identify your bottlenecks and improve on the one with the highest leverage
    * Templatize how to write ChatGPT prompts
    * Always share what's working
    * Stop solving the wrong problems

    My gauge when I invest in any kind of program is whether I can get an idea, insight, or action that’s worth the price. So how fast can you generate $68k from what you learned? My biggest takeaway is that creating an organic content-based business is the holy grail and the first 18 to 24 months is the hardest and the test. Thanks for the brain dump and insights!

    My biggest takeway was:
    Don't solve problems you don't have and focus on what's in front of you.
    This makes me feel more present and actually put in the work and be a DOER with the problems that are in front of me.

    My key takeaways:
    1. The 100, then 10-80-10 rule: I first came across the 10-80-10 rule on the first project I worked on coming into the tech industry. My lead pushed for this model from day 1 and it's stuck with me since as I moved on to managing others where I took what I learned doing the 80 to be better at the 10-x-10 part. However, I'm now connecting the dots between the "100" part and the "10-80-10" part as an entrepreneur, where I not only have to figure out the 100 in the early stages, but also turn my work into a frameworks and templates that I can eventually enable others to take on the 80 part or the 10 parts.
    2. Podcast pitching using a VA. It's one of those obvious, but not so obvious ideas. It's also a strong push for me to be more creative with how I can use a VA's time for more leverage.
    3. Open-sourcing your team. If the fundamental skill behind converting people's expertise into services and products is there, this is one of the most applicable use cases there is. When I was in my corporate job, I did teaching part time as a way of sharing my expertise, but that could have been leveraged in-house if the conditions and incentives were right.

    I'd love to hear more about SaaS and tech ignoring email segmentation and what lessons can be learned from the info product space.
    I come from a tech background (implementation rather than marketing) and once I started to learn about marketing and email it blew my mind how undervalued is is in the space. Same with using social media to drive sign-ups / email list sign-ups etc.
    95% of them aren't doing social media content marketing anywhere near effectively enough and I see it as a HUGE opportunity for writers.

    Also, when you're thinking about Daniel teaching what he knows, be sure that he makes the SOPs for all the parts of his job. That way, when he's unavailable, he can hand over the SOP. Can be made on loom or google doc... All standard operating procedures should be documented...

    Coming from the tech startup world and having apprenticed in the info marketing space for a few years, I have the same observations as Cole. I can’t believe the antiquated way saas companies run their emails. But this is the first time I hear someone else make that same observation. Phew, I’m not crazy!

    Amazing insights. Thanks for sharing these takeaways!
    I loved the 10-80-10 idea. never thought about it that way, but I can see when things have worked in the past because of that framework and when things have failed.
    The paid ad perspective is interesting. I'm finding that writing content is time consuming for me, but it clarifies my thinking and has a long tail compounding effect.

      Ali Abdaal has a few like his “part time RUclipsr crash course” (7 day email sequence) or “creatropreneur crash course” (5 day “course”)
      And he also has paid versions of those courses so the email course is basically the “teaser” of what you’d get in the full thing.

    Here is my biggest take away: A lot of (big) companies run their marketing primarily on paid ads - which is a negatively compounding. So there is a HUGE demand for organic content growth - which is positively compounding.
    Companies should therefore spend more money on great content writers and less on the paid ads hamster wheel.

    Lads! I watch these sessions at least twice.
    A constant state of procreation is my take away. That's the driving force. Learn, apply, teach, learn.
    The better you teach, the wider the impact, the faster the growth. Most of us stop at apply, because we don't fully accept or understand why we should share information.

    The last lesson hit me hard.
    I have a bad habit of buying and doing courses that are for my future problems, not current. For example, doing my MBA. These courses were helpful but it didn’t helped me to solve the problems that I had at that moment.
