Everywhere now in the UK , villages, small towns, large towns and cities have set up donation points for blankets, medical stuff, day to day living stuff etc.for The Ukrainian people. Peeps should check their local Facebook groups for info. It’s really practical way to help with your spare stuff in times when money is so tight for so many people. Take care and have fun in Greece 👍

Thanks for this Tim, it's amazing to see what happens when people come together! I think since recording this video, the White Eagle Club have stopped accepting clothing donations because they're completely overflowing and can't hold anymore. Pinned this comment so hopefully people will see it and check for local donation points to them 💛

Rain and migraines don't prevent the beauty of your hearts from shining through on your channel. Every time I see Scout, my heart melts - and the lengths you went to in order to bring him into your family are so touching. Thank you for the information you've left re: Ukraine. The camp spot in Greece was STUNNING!!! Glad you had a few days to decompress!

Your videos from Turkey have been really beautiful and for me that have a lot of family , and memories from there it means a lot. I am looking forward to more of your adventures other places. By the way Istanbul is much more beautiful without the rain and without having to drive, so yeah go back another time.

I came into Turkey on my digital return with Tread the Globe and I’m leaving with you. Turkey is one of those places you leave wanting more and thanks to you I now have a list of new places to visit next time. Ephesus is absolutely amazing but those marble streets would be lethal in the rain. The best way I found to get around Istanbul was the metro. It’s fast, efficient and not crowded outside of rush hour. Looking forward to adding some more places for a return trip to Greece as well.

Hey Chesca and Ben, its been because of channels like yours that I'm now building out my own dream van, I love and admire your work and have been following you from the beginning and loving it.
In such tender times, and I say, this is only my point of view, is there a way to make your thumb nail more uplifting? You are both so beautiful and don't need to attract viewers by being anything apart from yourselves, For what your video was about it brought my heart down, I was worried.
There's enough of that right now.

Ive travelled through Istanbul in the back of a mini bus driven by a local driver and that was bad enough, so my hat goes off to you Ben for driving there mate. I was waiting to see if you would have issues getting through to Greece after seeing the hassle that John and Mandy had. Good to see that the Greeks had changed the rules and made it a bit simpler for you guys. Looking forward to seeing where you visit as you travel through Greece. See you next weekend, be careful and stay safe.

It is very difficult for you to travel with two dogs in Istanbul with a population of 20 million. It is difficult to find a place to park your caravan in the historical peninsula. Best of all, you could travel around Istanbul very easily by using the Marmaray metro line, which is 5 minutes' walk from where you parked in Maltepe. I guess no one advised you. We loved you. We definitely look forward to seeing you again. But this time, come in April-May-June and enjoy the nature and the sun. Have a good journey...

At difficult times like these it's also necessary to be honest; selective sensitivity is like selective application of law or the application of a discriminatory law: it breeds not moral engagement, but moral cynicism and moral nihilism.
It's frustrating even infuriating how open-ended wars and disaster fueled and/or supported by our own govts never spark this type of popular mobilization, in fact our govts actively censor and ban groups of citizens speaking out & supporting boycotts (UK banned another batch of pro-Palestinian groups lately).
    - Yemen is facing the worst humanitarian crisis, with Western military support and diplomatic immunity to the worst offenders (UK blocked UNSC condemnation of Saudi Arabia)
    - Palestine on the whole is occupied, civilians shot like in a barrel, ethnically cleansed, closed-off, homes demolished, no control over land/air/sea and Holy Sites' status quo violated.
    - Syrian catastrophe is never ending with war crimes on every side (Syrian govt, Sunni militias, Kurdish-PKK militias, US+allies) and US illegally occupying land and partaking in stealing of natural resources
    - Including Horrendous bombing of russian-speaking areas of Ukraine, actively censored in most EU/US media, so that every mention can be attributed to Russian "actors".
But, when the X-trigger words come into play, when it's not the good guys violating international law, when refugees have "blue eyes", it's the moral imperatum that silences both other struggles and discussion on context.

If you're still at Thessaloniki or will be going there, after having a 6 months bond with Turkey's people and culture, maybe you can pay a short visit to the museum of Ataturk's home in that city. That is the house Ataturk was born and grew up when that area was still part of the late Ottoman Empire. It's probably a very small museum so it won't take much time and it might be a nice way to put a cherry on top of your Turkish adventures and memories, after leaving Turkey. Also, your many Turkish followers would appreciate if you can share what that museum is like.

Looking forward to seeing you explore a bit more of Greece. Your previous Greece videos are how I found your channel! Should be some good weather coming soon too. The stray dogs in Greece can be problematic too, they can't help it, but when a group of big aggressive dogs are running toward you, it's not the best. Happened to me a lot in Greece!

Well, we should probably let you know that we won’t be exploring much this time! It’s just a quick whistle stop to sort out some EU paperwork stuff for Scout at a vets here. We didn’t seem to have too many problems with the dogs in Greece, fingers crossed we’ll be good this time too! 🤞💛

Yes! I think you mentioned this before when Ben had a migraine. Mine are hormonal and I get them once a month. Ben actually suffers much more than me, but thankfully he's been okay for a while now. Last bad one was at Christmas in the villa. Will remember the can of cola now you've reminded me 😊 Hope you're having a lovely week x

Hi Ches & Ben, So sorry you did not get to see Istanbul, yes they are a bit strange with pet's as you found out with your New love of your lives. Istanbul is a beautiful place the Blue Mosque you cover your head Ches, you should have seen the photo of 4 of us inside more like wanted poster. We did not have a dog when we went our dog then Miss Honeysuckle had died we had been asked for years so between Miss Honeysuckle to Sir Barkalot we went 10 days just after they had the riots. Then went home about a week later a bomb blast at the airport. If you go go to see the Roman water tanks . Enjoy Greece get some sunshine before you come home. Take care Istanbul used to remind me of M25 on a bad day. We traveled around by Taxi one guy put my wheelchair in the boot and had a few bits under the wheelchair he slammed the boot closed about 8 times before it closed due to imprint in the boot lid, it was my old wheelchair did no damage to that.🙄 Be good stay safe and may the sunshine follow you around. Linda, Bob and Sir Barkalot xx

Hello! I have no idea why it would be doing that! My mum watches it on the TV and I asked her if she's had any high pitched whines and she says no. My audio levels are pretty basic so I don't know why it would be doing that, really sorry 😔

@@OverlandingSophia I just wanted to give you a little feedback back on what we can hear on each video its happened on the last few videos you have done its when your in the van and your talking directly to the camera, in your last one where you say good morning etc from 54 secs to to 1.13 there is a really high pitched noise coming from your microphone, not to be rude to your mum but she probably has presbycusis its quite normal we all get it, if you have a look into that you will understand what I mean, ask a younger person to have a listen and get there feed back, hope you can resolve the problem,
