Our favorite things to get there are the Fish Nuggets in the special sauce. Ask for the sauce on the side if taking it to go. The bbq short ribs and the orange beef.
Now that you mention it, about half the people I saw picking up orders were Asian. I was thinking that was a good sign. And thanks for the tip on the food recommendation.
So Louisville has no Chinatown I'm from Houston we have a awesome Chinatown don't eat buffets that's not real Chinese food that just looks like an old Timmy Chan type of Taco Bell Chinese food
This place is not that authentic. Any Chinese restaurant (all I’ve been to in KY), that called dry noodles on top of sautéed vegetables “chow mein”, is not authentic. Look up chow mein. It’s stir fried noodles, that’s the cucumbers tramslation. Look up lo mein. They are all off their rockers here.
Oriental House is awesome. I grew up in the area and we ate there many many times!! So thankful it is still there!!
Hopefully they can make it through these difficult times. It would be tragic to lose this local treasure.

Tofu IS bean curd. They are different names for the exact same thing
They have two menus. Americanized and Authentic.
