Xenoblade 2 Flashback & Nightmare Scenes with Color Filter Removed

Happy 6th Anniversary to Xenoblade Chronicles 2!
Normally the flashback (& Chapter 10 nightmare sequence) scenes in XC2 have this black & white filter. This is what they look like without that filter.
Disclaimer: If a flashback scene isn't in this video, it's because it was pre-rendered and I can't remove the filters off of those. So that means no Nia flashbacks, half of the Experiment scene, and most Torna DLC flashback scenes.

Coming back to these particular XC2 cutscenes after living in XC3 land...man, the tonal shift is completely unreal. XC1 feels like an anime game, but XC2 feels like a *fantasy* game while XC3 feels like a HUMAN game. good lord

The XC2 anime aesthetic with its degrading designs of women makes a perfect trilogy tainted by cringe incel tropes that really need to be let go.
Xenoblade 1 had no such issues and delivered a better experience for it.
Unfortunately XC2 takes you out with cringe bouncing tits as soon as you get immersed.

The fire effects when Malos awakens are cool, makes him like his sister
It’s nice that the Savorites have different coloured mechs even though you would never be able to see it, I remember people being confused about why savorites use the same mechs but I guess they aren’t.

IMO...this would have made the nightmares better. The color doesn't go away when you're dreaming, it gets so saturated and extreme that you can't tell the difference between a bar graph being drawn and sand falling into a wound.

I'd like to do this thing with XC1's flashbacks too, but removing the color filter doesn't seem to work on those.
Update: I got it working for XC1. Different setting turns them off compared to XC2.

There are cannibalism on Xenoblade 2 ..
In black and white I never noticed the plate and blood but with filter of colors I see it right away
That give a another feel of this scène
Me I thinking she just be dead by those guys

​@mysteriouscolours1532 Actually it does, as only those with the blood of Adam can open the sealed door on the sunken ship, the sunken vessel of the Aegis, and Rex is a Leftherian and Adam founded Fonsett Village and Rex is presumed to come from a another Leftherian island in the archipelago.

2.1.0. If you're wondering how I used Xenomods with that version, I had the standalone version of Torna and extracted the exefs to get the file just called "main". You put "main" in the same folder as the mod (sdmc/atmosphere/contents/0100E9500403800/exefs) if you want to get Xenomods working with base XC2.
I honestly forgot how I extracted the exefs in the first place, so here's the "main" file by itself if you want.
