Why because Lino is a huge pain in the ass and doesn’t want to learn ANY survival skills?? He is close to a month old now, has a full set of teeth and is still ONLY nursing. Luna is going to run out of milk and then what is he gonna do? He refuses to forage, refuses to walk and poor Luna has to coddle him. I don’t have high hopes for his survival, because he has refused to learn how to survive in the wild. These are wild monkeys, not pets or animals in a zoo. What we think should be done is not how it works in the damn wild. We can’t control nature nor should we want to try.
If it’s that concerning to you, then don’t watch, it’s as simple as that!! It’s called nature and they raise their young MILLION times differently than humans do ! And if you can’t and won’t separate the two, then again don’t watch and educate yourself because obviously you need it !

One stays with mother for life in a way. The other must leave the mothers natal group at age of expression to go live with the males of the full troop. It's not hard to grasp the ideas that monkeys are not human and do not have Babies but Newborns infants Yearlings and on all stages of her offspring.
