The next single taken from the album The Glass Dress and a Ringing Bell is the ethereal and gritty electronic 'Fixed Star'.
A collaboration between Silent Strike and Sukie Smith, the
song is inspired by the discovery of the Antikythera Mechanism , an
esoteric object discovered in 1900 in a ship wreck off a tiny
Greek island. Building on the themes of elliptical orbits,
wandering celestial giants and the nature of those things
that are fixed and moving, this song is a wish spell which
came true
Sukie and Silent
Strike have collaborated multiple times, with Sukie
co writing two previous singles, 'Stay Silent'
and 'No Rules Left'.
