I mean the kid weighs 105 lbs soaking wet. If you look at the rocker profiles that really explains the difference. The Nirvana tracks better at speed and when interacting with currents, but the 9r is easier to readjust on the fly and make corrections
How does the 9rL compare to the large Machno? I enjoyed my demo of the Machno but can't seem to find one, and I have been told that they paddle similar. Would like to hear your thoughts on that.
If you want a Machno the 9rL is not a replacement. They are apples an oranges for 2 boats made by the same company and with similar specs. If you want to order one and have it shipped to you reach out to info@mountainmanoutdoors.com and those guys will set you up.
I saw they have a demo in Orang Crush. Gave them a call but they told me they aren't shipping boats anymore. I don't assume that you are planning a trip to the Southeast (Ocoee area) anytime soon?
@@Christgoldberg Just gave them a call. The shipping issues are covid related. Freight shipping costs are through the roof If I hear about someone going down I will follow up with you.
@@AlexBarham sounds good. The guy I spoke to said that they won't be shipping boats at all anymore, even after we get through the Covid situation. Thanks for your help. Hoping to find something soon
Great review. I’ve noticed Johnny danger in his 9r on flat water requires less effort to maneuver and is faster than me in my nirvana.

Lovely review. Will you test the Zet cross soon?
Thanks! Zet are very hard to find here. If I get a chance to paddle one I will.
Familijen I will have a short initial review coming out for the Cross. My friend just managed to get one and I will take a quick lap in one.
@@AlexBarham Great! Looking forward to your review
