It lures you in with adorable, smiling girls, and before you know it, you're immersed in a profound story exploring nihilism and intergenerational responsibility. However, being a gacha game, it's locked behind hours of grinding. So, I sincerely want to thank you for the countless hours you've dedicated to researching, scriptwriting, recording, and editing these videos. Your efforts truly make the experience more enjoyable for all of us!

For those just enjoying the story and don't play BA, it can't be understated how strong (and cute!) Mika is. Spoiler from V3C4, but she: Breaks out of her cell with her bare hands RELENTLESSLY pursues Squad, being held off because of Sensei Brute forces her way through an ever changing labyrinth Wipes out multiple groups of heavily armed Arius students (implied she straight up tanks all their shots without much damage) Drops a massive pillar to split up Sensei from Saori Held an army of ghost nuns being led by a super Saint ghost nun My prayers go out to my fellow Mika rollers that await the holy day
You forgot the most important: - Ctrl + alt + dels every heavy and sometimes also non heavy armor enemy Jokes aside, gl rolling her, I've been using her in JP and she def lives up to the hype
I love how much this arc focused on all the little groups Trinity and Gehenna has and the personalities that make them. The amount of heart wrench it did to me when I saw Hanako stepping up to the role and the other students I grew to love so much struggling. It did things to me When Sensei got up from the hospital bed and got that "Let's get this shit done" moment that only a true Leader and grown Adult could. I got chills and finally got to bond with Sensei for real.I finally trully realized I love this fucking game
It really is one of those moments that makes you absolutely love this game!! So many characters had to step up to shoulder the weight of their schools in this Volume, and seeing how everyone makes it to the other side is unbelievably gratifying
I was so surprised at how good this arc was. Would've never imagined to find it in a mobile game of all things but it really made me a fan, after having just started the game about a month ago. Words can't describe how much I wish I could see Arius squad happy, especially Misaki, who I'm glad was given a motivation in protecting her friends as the new leader to keep living.
I feel the same way!! The writers of this game are really punching above their weight class; I so badly want the Arius girls to find all the happiness in the world after everything they have gone through
I'm gonna say it. I don't usually write comments but I watched all 8 hours of these videos and I have to say Thanks for being awesome. You are an excellent narrator and your ability to stay enthusiastic and engaging is what made this a treat to watch. The characters for the most part have their own motives and just because Sensei shows up doesn't mean everything has stopped and the spotlight is on the hero. The students continue to make mistakes in sensei's presence and act on their strong rational which creates a complex arc that exemplifies Sensei's role as guidance and not a problem solver. I was originally just gonna play these during work but the music choice and frequent CG selection made it feel like a legit movie where my eyes were glued to the screen. I don't know how many days of editing and takes it took to make this but I absolutely appreciate it all. The BA community is really lucky to have you because at its core the game is really a wholesome and vibrant experience.

Bravo! This entire story was such a good read and it was the first time in a while a story so powerfully impacted me. Thank you for all your hard work on these incredibly long videos! It was a great listen at work, and the visual elements I was able to catch while listening were well-crafted too! The way Saori and Mika continuously evolved throughout the story was so elegantly written and made for such powerful moments, like Saori presenting the bomb to Sensei in a desperate act to gain their trust, or Mika breaking down as Saori reflected pensively on what lead to her defeat at Mika's hands, followed by the mournful regret as the weight of all of Mika's mistakes crashed down on her. When I first started Blue Archive, I kept it at an arm's length as I thought it was "just another gacha" that I'd lose interest in quickly. Thanks to incredible stories like this, it has become an experience I never want to let go
I cannot thank you enough for your kind words!! This story is such an incredible tale of perseverance, hope, and learning to trust others, and seeing how Mika and Saori evolve throughout the series is unbelievably gratifying. There are so many characters that I love in this game, but those two are some of my absolute favorites for how much they grow throughout this arc! I love all of Blue Archive's story, but the Eden Treaty holds a bit of a special place for me personally...I'm really happy with the way this and the first half turned out, as well as all of your other lore videos, I've actually been listening to them as I go to sleep, haha. It felt kinda nice going through this arc and seeing stuff reminiscent of the catholic community I grew up in, like...I actually used to hear the 'Kyrie Eleison' pretty regularly, and so it made me laugh when it started playing for Mika, knowing what it meant for her. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to any future Blue Archive content you put out, as someone who only recently started watching you!

Its staying grounded with what they have & the story they want to tell. A lot of stories out there tend to want to tell stories that are overly complicated but when it comes down to it, the production don't really live up to it with their storytelling. Having a good story is one thing, delivering it well so that it reaches the audience is another and Blue Archive did this really well & surpassed our expectations. Honestly, took me by surprise when it initiated the setting with the SoL-ish girls doing cute things genre, and then effectively combining that with complex politics, made possible due to exploitation of the former by the villains. Like many other stories out there, it's not flawless, but it sure as hell is one of the better executed stories (I'd even say one of the best, far as enjoyability goes) out there.

Amazing! As someone who is completely unable to even play the game because of local bans to the point where vpn's dont't even work this was amazing to watch. Ive always been interested in Blue archive's story so having someone explain it in great detail is greatly apreciated. Ill keep watch for any new video's from now on. UPDATE: Looked into it again and with the help of a friend from the US i was able to start playing the game, got Maki from first 10 Pull and got kohaku aswell im enjoying the game so much.

I just finished watching, man there's so many scene that made me teared up, and Hifumi's speech even made my cry a little, when she raised her hand as in the thumbnail, that was such a beautiful moment, again your storytelling is awesome. Just finished the story last night and the video today! I cry every time I hear the piano version of the title theme. One nitpick i'd leave is that I think you downplayed Hanako's goofy side with her swimsuit antics XD when i saw her randomly wearing it to church i burst out laughing! I think showing that side of her more would really display just why she wanted to leave trinity
I am so glad that you enjoyed this so much!! It was really difficult to decide what I would and wouldn't cut from each video... I did want to include more of Hanako and Koharu's antics, but I found the videos getting longer and longer whenever I did, and had to make the difficult decision to cut a lot of that. I hope that didn't detract too much from the overall videos despite that!!
@@yumietsuchinoko oh it did not detract at all, just a slight nitpick! If i had to offer actual feedback, perhaps it being in chronological order does remove a little of the mystery and suspense aspect of the story but ultimately you should tell it how you wanna tell it!
@@tofuteh2348 I'd heard that from some other folks as well, but I realized that if I wanted to properly explain the full context of everything that happened, I'd have to make the tough decision to cast aside some of the mystique and commit to the full chronological story. But I'm so glad that it was still an enjoyable ride, especially with it being one of the most beloved stories in the game!!
Probably my favorite parts of the story, I was so invested in it and had Saori and Azusa quickly become my favorite characters! Had a fun time listening in on this Lore Archive episode!

You know, I adore this game and most of the girls, but.. How the heck is Makoto still the Gehenna president after this?! I swear that's the actual biggest mystery in Kivotos haha
After doing some digging, I found out that Gehenna's student body has the worst turnout for student elections, so Makoto won on a technicality, and even then, it sounds like it was only because she was associated with the vastly more popular Ibuki. If only Gehenna students would get more involved in politics... then Makoto wouldn't keep running the school!!

4 hours done!! I can't wait for the next part and getting to know Millennium. Every Lore Archive video you post makes me fall further in love with the students I've spent my blood, sweat, and time to collect. The first video gave me a chance to get to know abydos in a way that the in-game VN couldn't translate. Giving me so much more respect and appreciation for Hoshino, in particular. The 2nd video got me closer to Arius squad- where I previously just wanted saori because of her design. By the end of the video, I'm clamoring to collect them all so I could give them a home. (I just need hime left!!! 😂) And now, after the end of this video, I am deeply invested and working hard to have enough gems to get mika because she deserves to find refuge. I wonder who I'll favor, from millennium 😊😊 Thank you once again for your hard work and effort putting this together. I'd say there were a bit more editing issues (often with the fade in /outs not being consistent and some scenes swapping back and forth too often, repeating scenes) but overall, it was a fantastic watch. Please take your time editing these and you don't have to push yourself to finish them if you need the time to polish or rest. Your health and time is just as important. ❤

This was not really the story that I was expecting from my lighthearted game and based off the 4th and 4.5 PV, it would be not the first time that the story will turn a 180. In the end, Volume 3 was a very good story. It compelled me to read more and more every time I read an episode.

I've just finished this story arc. Gotta say that this is one of the most detailed stories I've ever come across and I've shed some tears over the tragic stories. (Yes, you Mika! Even, you're such a delinquent but still being the student to be protected and to be loved just like all students)
You're definitely not alone in shedding tears at this story! It just hits so hard, particularly in this second half of the Eden Treaty! Despite everything she's been through, I absolutely adore Mika, and I just want the best for her and the Arius girls... they've been through so much and certainly need to make some considerable amends for that, but I hope that they will be able to live a better life once everything is said and done!
YUMIIIIIE!!! This was wonderful!!! You did such a great job of laying out the feelings of the characters. I am so looking forward to millenium antics, I must protect my robot daughter... I am such a sucker for the "everyone returns" trope, so I knew I was going to cry when we got to Hifumi's speech and the abydos reveal, but I had forgotten all about poor Hina! 😭😭😭 Just let my girl live... While i understand leaving out a few parts for time and in some cases not just going word by word of the story. I feel like you missed a few parts regarding mika's hunt when she decided to go for Saori. the tunnel sequence and later with their encounter in the Arius district. it would feel better to have included that as part of your story telling. it simply raises the stakes and emotional buildup for when mika finally snaps herself back into reality of what shes trying to do. and how she gets redeemed. Im not sure how you build the whole artistic story telling which i understand you add more descriptive wording and what not to. But i think you could definitely look what scenes and what is said in the games story a bit more on how it impacts the understanding what happens in the moment. But props to you for being able to even condense it so much as its hard to capture alot of the finer points into in this case a story telling video.

This might be the best story in blue archive yet, but when the final chapter comes, I'm sure everyone will have the same feeling as they watch the Eden Treaty or even much stronger. you kinda skipped it but my fav dialogue was when Hanako confront Mika about her motivation in the postmortem section All of Mika's walls and lies were pretty convincing even though we know it doesn't just that simple but then Hanako just uncover everything in front of her and mentioned -not- to tell sensei on top of that

First up, very big congratulations for finishing this 2-parter! I always think about how something like this took 8+ hours to listen through for us, but you're the one that had to read it out, and that's not including all the outtakes. Are there any lasting effects for talking so long, like having sore muscles after doing a long hike? I've gotta say, compared to the original lore archive video I think there's already been a marked improvement in your editing and story telling skills. Well done! Oh my word, that is so kind of you to say Isaac, thank you!! I tried out a lot of new things editing-wise for this video and I want to keep improving on them, because I think that some of them landed really nicely (especially the epilogue, good god I'm happy with how that turned out). I actually have done a lot of work to avoid vocal strain as much as possible, because it could be really gnarly otherwise! The best vocal advice I've heard is was actually about singing from the channel VocalHacks (hilariously clickbait-y title but fantastic vocal advice!) to keep your vocal cords relaxed and make sure you stay well hydrated, since you can start straining your voice pretty easily otherwise. Whenever I felt like I was getting too tired and being less careful about my voice, I'd stop recording so that I could get a drink and rest for a few minutes, and if that continued to persist I would stop the whole recording session and come back later. With videos this length, that definitely leads to lots of recording sessions, but I'm relieved that my voice was ok at the end of it!
I was not expecting to enjoy this story as much as I did. I initially put off starting the game due to how fan-servicey it seemed to be, glad I actually started playing it though. And thank you so much for making these videos.

For those just enjoying the story and don't play BA, it can't be understated how strong (and cute!) Mika is. Spoiler from V3C4, but she:
Breaks out of her cell with her bare hands
RELENTLESSLY pursues Squad, being held off because of Sensei
Brute forces her way through an ever changing labyrinth
Wipes out multiple groups of heavily armed Arius students (implied she straight up tanks all their shots without much damage)
Drops a massive pillar to split up Sensei from Saori
Held an army of ghost nuns being led by a super Saint ghost nun
My prayers go out to my fellow Mika rollers that await the holy day

Jokes aside, gl rolling her, I've been using her in JP and she def lives up to the hype
I love how much this arc focused on all the little groups Trinity and Gehenna has and the personalities that make them.
The amount of heart wrench it did to me when I saw Hanako stepping up to the role and the other students I grew to love so much struggling. It did things to me
When Sensei got up from the hospital bed and got that "Let's get this shit done" moment that only a true Leader and grown Adult could. I got chills and finally got to bond with Sensei for real.I finally trully realized I love this fucking game
It really is one of those moments that makes you absolutely love this game!! So many characters had to step up to shoulder the weight of their schools in this Volume, and seeing how everyone makes it to the other side is unbelievably gratifying
I was so surprised at how good this arc was. Would've never imagined to find it in a mobile game of all things but it really made me a fan, after having just started the game about a month ago. Words can't describe how much I wish I could see Arius squad happy, especially Misaki, who I'm glad was given a motivation in protecting her friends as the new leader to keep living.
I feel the same way!! The writers of this game are really punching above their weight class; I so badly want the Arius girls to find all the happiness in the world after everything they have gone through
I'm gonna say it. I don't usually write comments but I watched all 8 hours of these videos and I have to say Thanks for being awesome.
You are an excellent narrator and your ability to stay enthusiastic and engaging is what made this a treat to watch. The characters for the most part have their own motives and just because Sensei shows up doesn't mean everything has stopped and the spotlight is on the hero. The students continue to make mistakes in sensei's presence and act on their strong rational which creates a complex arc that exemplifies Sensei's role as guidance and not a problem solver.
I was originally just gonna play these during work but the music choice and frequent CG selection made it feel like a legit movie where my eyes were glued to the screen. I don't know how many days of editing and takes it took to make this but I absolutely appreciate it all. The BA community is really lucky to have you because at its core the game is really a wholesome and vibrant experience.

This entire story was such a good read and it was the first time in a while a story so powerfully impacted me. Thank you for all your hard work on these incredibly long videos! It was a great listen at work, and the visual elements I was able to catch while listening were well-crafted too!
The way Saori and Mika continuously evolved throughout the story was so elegantly written and made for such powerful moments, like Saori presenting the bomb to Sensei in a desperate act to gain their trust, or Mika breaking down as Saori reflected pensively on what lead to her defeat at Mika's hands, followed by the mournful regret as the weight of all of Mika's mistakes crashed down on her.
When I first started Blue Archive, I kept it at an arm's length as I thought it was "just another gacha" that I'd lose interest in quickly. Thanks to incredible stories like this, it has become an experience I never want to let go
I cannot thank you enough for your kind words!! This story is such an incredible tale of perseverance, hope, and learning to trust others, and seeing how Mika and Saori evolve throughout the series is unbelievably gratifying. There are so many characters that I love in this game, but those two are some of my absolute favorites for how much they grow throughout this arc!

I love all of Blue Archive's story, but the Eden Treaty holds a bit of a special place for me personally...I'm really happy with the way this and the first half turned out, as well as all of your other lore videos, I've actually been listening to them as I go to sleep, haha.
It felt kinda nice going through this arc and seeing stuff reminiscent of the catholic community I grew up in, like...I actually used to hear the 'Kyrie Eleison' pretty regularly, and so it made me laugh when it started playing for Mika, knowing what it meant for her.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to any future Blue Archive content you put out, as someone who only recently started watching you!

Its staying grounded with what they have & the story they want to tell. A lot of stories out there tend to want to tell stories that are overly complicated but when it comes down to it, the production don't really live up to it with their storytelling.
Having a good story is one thing, delivering it well so that it reaches the audience is another and Blue Archive did this really well & surpassed our expectations. Honestly, took me by surprise when it initiated the setting with the SoL-ish girls doing cute things genre, and then effectively combining that with complex politics, made possible due to exploitation of the former by the villains.
Like many other stories out there, it's not flawless, but it sure as hell is one of the better executed stories (I'd even say one of the best, far as enjoyability goes) out there.

For a game that started with students with guns into a rather complicated but explained understandably story in progression, Blue Archive honestly will have a special place in my heart because of how it's emotionally impacted me, and I hope they continue to deliver wonderfully.
Amazing! As someone who is completely unable to even play the game because of local bans to the point where vpn's dont't even work this was amazing to watch. Ive always been interested in Blue archive's story so having someone explain it in great detail is greatly apreciated. Ill keep watch for any new video's from now on.
UPDATE: Looked into it again and with the help of a friend from the US i was able to start playing the game, got Maki from first 10 Pull and got kohaku aswell im enjoying the game so much.

I just finished watching, man there's so many scene that made me teared up, and Hifumi's speech even made my cry a little, when she raised her hand as in the thumbnail, that was such a beautiful moment, again your storytelling is awesome. Just finished the story last night and the video today! I cry every time I hear the piano version of the title theme.
One nitpick i'd leave is that I think you downplayed Hanako's goofy side with her swimsuit antics XD when i saw her randomly wearing it to church i burst out laughing! I think showing that side of her more would really display just why she wanted to leave trinity
I am so glad that you enjoyed this so much!! It was really difficult to decide what I would and wouldn't cut from each video... I did want to include more of Hanako and Koharu's antics, but I found the videos getting longer and longer whenever I did, and had to make the difficult decision to cut a lot of that. I hope that didn't detract too much from the overall videos despite that!!
@@yumietsuchinoko oh it did not detract at all, just a slight nitpick! If i had to offer actual feedback, perhaps it being in chronological order does remove a little of the mystery and suspense aspect of the story but ultimately you should tell it how you wanna tell it!
@@tofuteh2348 I'd heard that from some other folks as well, but I realized that if I wanted to properly explain the full context of everything that happened, I'd have to make the tough decision to cast aside some of the mystique and commit to the full chronological story. But I'm so glad that it was still an enjoyable ride, especially with it being one of the most beloved stories in the game!!
Probably my favorite parts of the story, I was so invested in it and had Saori and Azusa quickly become my favorite characters! Had a fun time listening in on this Lore Archive episode!

You know, I adore this game and most of the girls, but.. How the heck is Makoto still the Gehenna president after this?! I swear that's the actual biggest mystery in Kivotos haha
After doing some digging, I found out that Gehenna's student body has the worst turnout for student elections, so Makoto won on a technicality, and even then, it sounds like it was only because she was associated with the vastly more popular Ibuki. If only Gehenna students would get more involved in politics... then Makoto wouldn't keep running the school!!

4 hours done!! I can't wait for the next part and getting to know Millennium. Every Lore Archive video you post makes me fall further in love with the students I've spent my blood, sweat, and time to collect.
The first video gave me a chance to get to know abydos in a way that the in-game VN couldn't translate. Giving me so much more respect and appreciation for Hoshino, in particular.
The 2nd video got me closer to Arius squad- where I previously just wanted saori because of her design. By the end of the video, I'm clamoring to collect them all so I could give them a home. (I just need hime left!!! 😂)
And now, after the end of this video, I am deeply invested and working hard to have enough gems to get mika because she deserves to find refuge.

This was not really the story that I was expecting from my lighthearted game and based off the 4th and 4.5 PV, it would be not the first time that the story will turn a 180. In the end, Volume 3 was a very good story. It compelled me to read more and more every time I read an episode.
Once again hitting up with a Masterpiece! And boy oh boy, the story of Mika and Saori was amazing.

I've just finished this story arc. Gotta say that this is one of the most detailed stories I've ever come across and I've shed some tears over the tragic stories. (Yes, you Mika! Even, you're such a delinquent but still being the student to be protected and to be loved just like all students)
You're definitely not alone in shedding tears at this story! It just hits so hard, particularly in this second half of the Eden Treaty! Despite everything she's been through, I absolutely adore Mika, and I just want the best for her and the Arius girls... they've been through so much and certainly need to make some considerable amends for that, but I hope that they will be able to live a better life once everything is said and done!

While i understand leaving out a few parts for time and in some cases not just going word by word of the story. I feel like you missed a few parts regarding mika's hunt when she decided to go for Saori. the tunnel sequence and later with their encounter in the Arius district. it would feel better to have included that as part of your story telling. it simply raises the stakes and emotional buildup for when mika finally snaps herself back into reality of what shes trying to do. and how she gets redeemed.
Im not sure how you build the whole artistic story telling which i understand you add more descriptive wording and what not to. But i think you could definitely look what scenes and what is said in the games story a bit more on how it impacts the understanding what happens in the moment. But props to you for being able to even condense it so much as its hard to capture alot of the finer points into in this case a story telling video.

you kinda skipped it but my fav dialogue was when Hanako confront Mika about her motivation in the postmortem section
All of Mika's walls and lies were pretty convincing even though we know it doesn't just that simple
but then Hanako just uncover everything in front of her and mentioned -not- to tell sensei on top of that
it took a day to watch this but it was worth it. at 3:31 am it was awsome.

First up, very big congratulations for finishing this 2-parter! I always think about how something like this took 8+ hours to listen through for us, but you're the one that had to read it out, and that's not including all the outtakes. Are there any lasting effects for talking so long, like having sore muscles after doing a long hike?
I've gotta say, compared to the original lore archive video I think there's already been a marked improvement in your editing and story telling skills. Well done!

Oh my word, that is so kind of you to say Isaac, thank you!! I tried out a lot of new things editing-wise for this video and I want to keep improving on them, because I think that some of them landed really nicely (especially the epilogue, good god I'm happy with how that turned out).
I actually have done a lot of work to avoid vocal strain as much as possible, because it could be really gnarly otherwise! The best vocal advice I've heard is was actually about singing from the channel VocalHacks (hilariously clickbait-y title but fantastic vocal advice!) to keep your vocal cords relaxed and make sure you stay well hydrated, since you can start straining your voice pretty easily otherwise.
Whenever I felt like I was getting too tired and being less careful about my voice, I'd stop recording so that I could get a drink and rest for a few minutes, and if that continued to persist I would stop the whole recording session and come back later. With videos this length, that definitely leads to lots of recording sessions, but I'm relieved that my voice was ok at the end of it!
