I agree that what is lacking in our society today is the sacred. We have weak moral and spiritual foundations and therefore easily fall prey to manipulation at the hands of government and corporations. I also see a lack of personal responsibility, being okay with outsourcing duties of the community again to govt and corporations. Also great quote at the end

Good question to which I don't have a definite answer obviously. We are meant to compete and thrive while doing so although I believe there are different forms of competition. Ferrari vs Lamborghini i.e. brought many advancements to the whole car sector until Enzo Ferrari stepped back from his position in gratefulness to have had such a healthy rivalry.
And then there are the competitions for the cheapest computer chip that causes immense suffering for millions of people mining cobalt in the Congo. It's about ethical competition.

Hey bro great video. Everyone in the world feels the same way. I think the world won't go anywhere, but it will get worse. with AI and all that stuff. dont matter tho, in some near future we will all be dead, what matters is the reason we lived for. I think it's a good time to ask the important questions, like does God exists ?! and if he actually does exist, what he got to say for all that's happening. personally speaking i found that really helpful, I got back to my religion (islam) and found great fulfillment there. I hope you find your peace too. A couple of years ago i was an avid leftist and a progressive in a lot of world issues, was a big proponent of agitate and propagate and educate the people and all that good leftist stuff. but, i just dont see any of that happening anytime soon. the contradictions of capitalism is reaching a breaking point that will prolly result in a third world war. Unfortunately I cant see any future where this world might go to a peacful scenario. I just dont care, as it's way beyond me. it's beyond you too. Focus on the simple things within your hand like doing good and being kind, that's way more impactful internally and externally than all that headache with politics and WW3.
Agreed, I really like the stoic approach to life, living in virtue and doing the most in the present moment, with what you have at hand right now. It's about leaving your close environment better than you found it while fostering healthy relationships.
Regarding god, I have been agnostic my whole life but recently have become more open-minded in that regard as well, because I just see a good amount of sense in believing in something good and true rather than believing in what society deems as virtuous because it simply doesn't add up anymore.
