Homeless no longer

Elmer Alvarez was homeless in New Haven, Conn., when one day he came across a $10,000 check that had been lost. The first thing he thought of was to find the person who dropped it, and that's how he met real estate broker Roberta Hoskie. Their meeting would begin a partnership that will give hope to others - like them - who have experienced the difficulties of homelessness. Steve Hartman reports.

There are so many good people in the world ....we just hardly ever hear about them....how can we really get out of homelessness.???once your our there you can barely hold on to your spirit,your power,your sense of direction and goals....it humiliating please God help us figure sure this out....so many people losing hope for their future......this stories is beautiful.....everyone has a contribution to this world.....by being apart instead of being divided from a roof over your head , ability to care for yourself in a manner that's not like a desperate animal.....this is going on way too many years and getting worse....but again stories like this show so much hope....

I know how it feels to be homeless. Its awlful. When. I was homeless I had to take a shower at the local gym and felt ashamed. I slept in my car which I felt lucky to have cuz some homeless people do not have that. I hope some day that there will be no more homeless people and poverty
