    I hated the hypebeast trend. When supreme,palace,anti social, and bape where at it's peak, people just put on the most expensive stuff on from those brand together and wear it without thinking about the details and how the fit looks. And what do you think about wide fit jeans/ trousers trend Harry ?

    I don’t own any mustard / salmon coloured trousers or chinos and had a few salmon chinos several years got that I never really wore. They aren’t really a versatile colour but in retrospect I think I got rid of them because they were too slim fitting. I might wear mustard/salmon coloured trousers in a fuller cut and with the right outfit. There is something about those Ralph Lauren ads from the 80’s / 90’s that really romanticized the “preppy” look for me.

  • @troysierra5228
    @troysierra5228 2 года назад

    Probably something to talk about...
    All we hear is trends, brands, looks. If you head to any past decade. There was more. It was called 'style.'
    The MODS had style, the Rebels had style, the New Romantics had style, the 70's had style, the grunge had style.
    I think today, we're too captivated by where we shop, or the name brands we wear. Honestly, even copying others' clothing choices.
    If you leave out the mood, haircuts, or facial features ie.. sideburns, facial hair, hair representation. Then your capturing nothing but consumerism.

I have a couple of longline t-shirts but I didn't do it on purpose; I ordered my usual size online and got long t shirts that somehow make me a sort of dress or pyjama. Can't disagree with anything you said there, mate. I couldn't wear skinny jeans because they would be uncomfortable and bother me. I always go for relaxed fit.

    I miss the commonness of longline tees, I’m a rather tall guy (6’4”) and I’ve barely been able to find nice skinny/muscle fitting tees with a proper length of around 30 inches or more ever since. Does anyone recommend any brands? My chest width is about 38” to give you an idea of how skinny I am

    I would have to add v-neck t-shirts to this list. 2010-2012 it was getting pretty out of hand with how plunging these V necklines were getting. Crew neck for me much more tasteful and timeless.

    Almost all trends are deliberately bad, that ensures people will arbitrarily adopt them. Stylish clothing hasn’t changed fundamentally in a long time, the point of fashion is people buying annually and the best way to ensure that is avoiding things that are actually stylish and look appealing on the wearer.

    there was a time when i totally loved skinny jeans, it was around 2009-2013.. it came from the punk and metal scene where i was at this time... ripped skinny jeans, flannel, tank top.. oh my god this was my vibe back then...but then 2015 skinny jeans became mainstream, all the bodybuilders started to wear it like you mention it in your video and it became a big no go for me aswell... i mean, all the f****boys out there still wearing ripped skinny jeans here in my country... these were the same guys who laughed at you 12 years before like "omg look at this gay, hes wearing women jeans"...:D

    I still wear skinny jeans tbh I think they fit me better than slim.regular jeans and none of my 'skinny' jeans are super skinny to the point of exploding lol. Bought a relaxed wide fit pair recently and love it. I think it's good to have a couple different types anyway to mix it up.

    One note regarding skinny jeans that people forget to discuss. If you’re a smaller built guy with skinny legs, it would look somewhat ridiculous to be wearing more relaxed cut jeans because you end up swimming in them. Wearing skinny jeans for me is a must.
