Interesting video. I wonder if the knife makers supply with let me camp in there parking lot for a few days, while I went shopping Lolol. The straight razors always get my attention ! Well done George !
Awesome video. As a fellow minnesotan I'm disappointed in myself, I never knew about that Knife makers supply store 😮😮 I'd get lost in Tom's. Now I have 2 new spots to check out.
They are a fantastic store, call them and they are a pleasure to deal with.. another great knife supply store is Texas knife makers, they will get you what you need as well. When I'm looking for really obscure steels US knife makers is the one I call first because they will source it for me quickly if they don't have what I need/want. Very good people that run a very crisp operation.
You have some really nice Antique shops in your neck of the woods. Prices are a bit all over the place just like the shops here in Michigan I have found my best deals in booths that just have a knife or two the ones that don't specialize in carrying a bunch as always thanks for the video 😊 That Remington was from the 80's or 9O's they were well made knives in several patterns some with the bullet shield I owned some over the years but was always a little disappointed that the mostly used delrin handles good durability wise but nothing looks better with age than well carried bone imo 😊
I just bought some CPM s125v from them a couple weeks ago. Talk about that 70 dollar a pound steel s125v is NOT CHEAP. Im making a sod buster blade out of it to replace an old cpm 440v blade that I made for it about 10 years ago that's seen one to many sharpenings and it's time to replace the half sharpened away blade. Probably gonna make a sod buster and a sod buster JR blade in the s125v by May so the large one out of CPM cruwear and the small one out of s125v, haven't figured out exactly what I'm gonna do yet but it will be either both out the s125v or one and one. They are a good quality store, I can call them and get exactly what I need without problem and if they don't have it in stock they will source it for me even if it's an obscure steel I'm looking for. They got me some Hap72 about a year ago and in the US that stuff is next to impossible to find yet they had it for me within 4 days.
I got to ask, where did you get your accent? Where was you born and raised if you don't mind me asking? It sounds very British but I know you live in the states. Great video as always

Not sure, I think 80, 🤔
What's up with the music? It's annoying
They were playing music in background at store...RUclips frowns on that. So you have to use tmYT approved...sorry you were annoyed
