Sorrow armor is just better for powder grinding. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Just powdergrind with gauntlet and sorrow armor in precursors and jungle pick + any armor in jungle
Do only 1 hour please, It affects your mentality and is way too boring. My tip is to get at least 100k powder everyday so you'll get 4m powder in like 40 days obviously you can mine more but 1 hour is more then fine it just is a bit long term
The longest I’ve done is 2 hours, 💀 its so boring, to the point I procrastinated by trophy fishing💀💀💀💀. Though squid fishing is kinda fun and the thing I procrastinate with. Edit: Honestly I should put mining exp boost on my squid.

Its cause we’re poor and our other money making methods suck. Not cause we have money to drop. once you get so much gemstone powder and mole, mineral is useless. It's solely for more money from ores, such as coal (coal earns a good bit)
