This Christmas, Tony Mortimer of East 17 and Waltham Forest Youth Choir cover the classic track ’Stay Another Day’ in support of CALM, a charity dedicated to preventing male suicide. Recorded in Walthamstow E17 where it all began! More info: stayanotherday.info
when we were young... I really want to rewind the film of life back, even if not forever, even for a day, to enjoy this moment peace and goodness to all!!!
Tony actually made them all sign a contract where all the members recognize he was the author of all the songs, now he's a millionaire living in a mansion while the other members work as painters and in construction. Brian is working as a plumber and is completely broke, just like the other guys, while Tony lives the rich life. You can see a good documentary about it here: ruclips.net/video/ddX4YyEBk0E/видео.html

These guys definitely have the groove! 👏👏 Just look at them, man! 🙈 This is still so modern, cool & sexy music. Only for people who know what's really good. 😘😘

Harvey eventually destroyed the team due to his addictions to alcohol and drugs, now he is homeless. It's a shame that a good band broke up because of one freak
Follow Brian Harvey’s you tube channel. His story is there. He’s gained a lot of support and rightly so. He made east 17 and they really weren’t good without him. BHTV is his channel

Brian Harvey sang of these misfortunes to come .. he had a vision of his future ... you will always remain the most beautiful angelic voice in our hearts
Thats a reason why i listen songs from 90’ till late 2000. No those tropical sounds, horrible autotuned vocals, horrible rythmes.. Some of nowadays music also is copied from old ones..
Tony was absolutely bloody gorgeous! 🔥 Around 1992, me & 3 friends bunked off school to get the train to Manchester to see them in concert. Had the time of our lives. The fans were wild!! 😆 I remember buying Smash Hits or Just Seventeen just for the E17 posters or song lyrics. Counting down the days till the Poll Winners Party just to watch them perform. Some of happiest times of my teenage life. I miss the 90s! 🥹
East Seventeen Legend Forever. Brian Harvey Best Vocal English , Tony Mortimer the best writer, lyricist, arranger, songwriter. No matter what happens, the best boy band ever. The best. Forever. With love from Russia, Moscow 2023. Peace for everyone!!!

Talented, charismatic, strange, unique, discovered his talent by chance, outrageous, came out of the people and the ghetto, a star, the best rhythm and blues and soul voice of England, with a unique gift, destroyed by newspapers and his rash behavior and statements. But this is Brian Harvey, he couldn't be any different. Underestimated, due to the mutation of modern music and the end of the boyz bands era and the decline of the golden era of hip hop and soul/rhythm and blues. Brian Harvey and East 17 will always remain in our hearts. But unfortunately, and it's obvious that his voice could not compete at that moment with Boyz2Men, Jodeci, and the American soul/rhythm and blues/gospel market, and even with Backstreet boyz and Nsync, there were more powerful voices and bigger budgets in this market. Not fate. But we still love you Brian Harvey and we'll remember you so amazing, you're a legend. There is no you, there is no East Seventeen. Peace.
Классная группа! Всегда нравились и по хореографии и по текстам ! Молодцы ребята, видел их на концерте в Болгарии - незабываемое приключение! 10 парней и столько девчат !!!!!
I was 16 and this was the song you danced to with your boyfriend at discos. I remember buying this on cassette tape and I still love it now, it never ages. The 80/90's music will never be replaced by the recycled rubbish that is been released nowadays. I don't even listen to the radio anymore
I was 14 then 39 now. I miss those times, listening to all these songs brings so much memories, but mostly sadness coz I realize I'm getting old. Time flies by so fast.
Im in my 60's now but i always loved East 17, when my daughters were in to Take That i was an old lady Easy Seventeener & they are as good now if not better than i thought they were. They had sass in buckets full !
I was about 15, just finished 9 years at school in Lithuania and passed exams. Later I picked up my certificate and that was the last day in my school and home area, where my childhood was spent, where I was playing with my friends, walking dog in the evening with dad, where I fell in love for the first time, where I had the best memories of my life, because we moved to another place to live. This song was in the tops in the radio and I liked that chorus melody which had stuck in my head for ages, and sometimes years later I was remembering that melody, which reminded me of my childhood, of my friends and classmates, of my dad, who passed away, but I could never find this song. I had a rough idea it was a boy band and aproximate year when it was in the tops. I literally decided to spend all evening but find it and I am here now very happy:)
