Fun fact: the sewer mimic walks like that because it is mimicking the basilisks. Other mimics walk normal because they are mimicking the soldiers around them walking upright.

@@sunbreakerqueenofbronze621I learned that after playing ds1 then ds3 then Sekiro then bloodborne then I played elden ring then I played demon souls then I played ds2 then I replayed ds3 and finally found out you could do that to the mimic chests lol.
You could've spared yourself a lot of pain by baiting Yhorm's bending attack on stairs. It might've allowed you to even hit his head, stagger him, and go for thousands of damage.
Sadly there's no suck in DS2, BUT there is life steal patch.. only thing with life steal in its name, would be fun to see how mad he gets at ds2 lol. fantastic game though, currently on NG+4 and having a joyous time, genuinely suggest ds2 to folk.

Just so you know you can mash out of stray demons grab by going R1 L1 R2 L2 in that order. It’ll do like white flashes around your character, it works in most grabs in the game and it’ll just reduce the damage you take. The faster and more accurately you do it in that order the less damage you take. I think it works with every grab except for if you open a mimic. But it works on the mimics other grab attack. Just sharing in case anyone doesn’t know and hates grab attacks like I do and would typically just put the remote down and let myself die Cool guy though pretty entertaining and enjoyable to watch.
